Never seen anyone using this but those fritters sure looks good. I'm just getting back my appetite after mourning my father's death the past 6 weeks. I'm eating everything under the sun 😭
@@JerenesEats Ah kk! Phew! btw, my grandparents got their first tablet and Internet access as a holiday gift. In addition to their fav pastors and Jamaican news channels, my grandmother specifically wanted a Jamaican cooking channel so I gave her yours last month 😉

Hi Jerene, I believe you live in my region. Can you tell me which grocery store you got your annatto seeds from please.
I get them at the west indian stores
@@JerenesEats Do you know if I can get it at Centra? (not sure if you are familiar with Centra)
@@lisakmar haven't been there luv. I know Danforth Foods has it for sure
@@JerenesEats Wonderful! I'll check out Danforth. Thank you.
Salt fish tastes much better when you soak it for several hours instead of boiling it.
I do either. If I wake up in the mood for Fritters, there's no time to soak so I just boil. Either works for me based on the situation.
Has my whole life been a lie!? I thought the yellow color from fish cakes was curry powder 😭 I've not heard of this oil (...calls her grandmother...)
No your life has not been a lie 😄😄 It can be both love. Curry is also used 😁
