Have seen/met many hundreds of Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and even WW2 Vets with similar issues, this from Combat and Head injuries with many dealing with it using Alcohol(and Drugs). At least 5-6 of them I met had the Medal of Honor and though didn't meet him Audie Murphy was another that turned to Alcohol and Drugs to dull his Mental Health issues. He was one first I read about right after he passed away but at same time I spent lot of time at VFW's with my Dad and Grandpa this right before and after end of Vietnam. Sad thing is this wont be going away for many Decades as US Military in Iraq and Afghanistan suffered Head Injuries at a higher rate then any previous Conflict

They were pinned down in Italy and presumed dead for 2 weeks because nobody could even get in the area they were trapped in and they said it’s war nothings pretty about it but you’re happy u made it and u keep going

I’m confused as to why this guy was calling emergency services. The entire situation is bizarre to me. If she wants to leave and he refuses, then she should just go alone and let him figure out how to get home himself. After all, he’s an adult, even though he has no idea how to act like one. The cops should have arrested him after the second call instead of engaging in his crazy behavior. It seems as if they would have better things to do than deal with these two. It must have been a very slow night and they didn’t have anything better to do than babysit a drunk, obnoxious adult male.

There were 17.3 Million active soldiers in the german Wehrmacht. Two of them were my grandfathers. They served at the eastern front. They booth came back with PTSD, I'm sure. Did they ever acted like that? No. They know the rules of society. They don't committed any crimes (in war as far I now they didn't), they became valuable members of society. Why are oure veterans today behaving like that?
@@mare2971my guess is they come back to a society here that doesn’t support them, they can’t find a job….they use drugs for self medication…many end up homeless. Some have a hard time adjusting from the lack of structure the military provided
