    Great video, just bought a 2015 Escape Platinum. When I press on the steering wheel vice command button. The “Please say your command” audio voice is not broadcasted. I can only see the commands on the screen.
    I have the volume for voice command set at about 3/4. I have the vice command set to advance.
    Is there anything I’m missing?
    I took the car back to the dealer and they said that’s how the system work.
    But I find that hard to believe because my 2013 focus has no problem broadcasting the “Please say your command “ after pushing the steering wheel voice command button.
    Any thoughts?

      in the voice setting turn advanced off. Advanced mode is just the beep without her saying please say a command etc.

      Update... The Sync had to be replaced. I bought the vehicle from CarMax and informed them the voice command did not work. This feature, I don’t think anyone would think of testing when test drive a vehicle. So as soon as I got home with the vehicle, as anyone else with a new toy. I played with all its features. Sync and voice command being at the top of the list. You could just imagine my disappointment after syncing my phone and pushing the voice command button (after ensuring all possible settings effecting the feature were set correctly). I would not get the ‘please say your command ‘ request.
      First thing I tried was click through the options to ensure I did not miss that one feature that would cause an issue. Next, I read through the owners manual. I then went back to ‘settings bingo’ again. By this time I was irritated. So of course, I thought maybe RUclips can help. I searched RUclips and came across this post.
      At this point nothing helped, I called it quotes for the day. The next morning I called CarMax and made an appointment to take it in and get it checked out. Being that CarMax has a 7 day return policy and I was going into the first 24 hours of ownership. I did not want to wait to long and have an expensive repair of the sync replacement come out of my pocket. Especially because it was sold to me with that condition.
      After taking the vehicle in, and CarMax being gracious enough to provide a loaner. I checked up on the vehicle at the end of the day. CarMax had not looked at it yet, and informed me they would contact me in 3days.
      On the forth day a CarMax Service Advisor call and informed me that the ‘Electronic Specialist’ had diagnosed it as ‘No issue, functions as it should’. And I could pick the vehicle up.
      Of course, I was not happy with that answer because I’m a Ford guy and know better. But I was a bit upset and to be honest shocked about the answer I got.
      So, after picking the vehicle up I called Ford tech line that same afternoon. The call was router to an overseas hotline. I got to speak to 3 very nice people overseas.... those of you with experience in trying to convey ideas with support lines located overseas would understand my pain after 2 hours on the phone and more confused then when I first stated. I chose to chock it up and thank Tech Support for their time.
      Anyway, the next day ( going on day 3 of CarMax 7 day policy). I searched CarMaxs app for the exact type of vehicle, year, model, all that. And found a dealer out of state with 3. I called the deal and informed them about my issue and asked them to try the voice command button. They were kind enough to help and confirm that it did provide the ‘Please say your command’ request.
      I then called the CarMax dealer I bought the vehicle from and asked the service manager for the information to the authorized Ford dealer they work with.
      I was able to get the info and called that Ford deal. I asked for the Service Manager and explained my dilemma. He informed me that the Sync System shall proved the voice over after pushing the button. I thanked him.
      I called CarMax again and informed them on all the steps I had taken and what the Ford dealer had started.
      They had me drop the vehicle off again. They provide a loaner vehicle.
      On the second day, CarMax called and informed me the Sync Systems was faulty and needed replaced.

    the radio of my 2013 Ford Escape titanium has a message that says 911 assistance does not work take a dealership how do I solve that myself

    Hi Pioneer Ford, i just buyed a Ford Focus Titanium from 2015 (imported from France to Portugal) and the audio control language is in english. It is possible to change the language to portuguese? And can you please teach me how to do it? Thanks
