The word Mysore is in it. We aren't claiming it unlike Caveri 😅
kaveri is the goddess of Kodavas, still has nothing to do with Tamil Nadu
The problem
Here is that, most people in India won’t know that something called Kannada or Karnataka exists which is unique on it’s own. Besides all this, they change all original names and pronunciations too. Such as Paaka, Dosé, Vadé, Saaru, Rasa etc. And more irritating is that the Kannadigas themselves intend to use the modified names rather than the originals which are unique to Kannada. Sad.
You are wrong, at least in up, Maharashtra, north & east.
Everyone knows Karnataka but dislike their lack of attention towards braunwashed conversions in their villages.
The name it self says Mysore Pak... Then how it can be from other state
The same way Rasgulla is from Odisha and they got the GI Tag also.
Bengal got it. Again controversy.

In fact Dosa ,Idli and Vada are from UDUPI,Karnataka
Exactly!! And my ignorance self thought it to the invention of Tamil Nadu when I lived in my home state in North India. 😂
I am just appreciating the huge live edge table, because I am not aware of any controversy about Mysooru pak's origin. May be the northIndians thought it was Madrasi, because for them anything south of Pune is Madrasi. I haven't come across any Tamilian claiming that dish as theirs.
I think Smitha ji is also kannadiga !! I get that vibes !! 👏👏❤️
There is one in the comment section who is saying that mysore paka is originally from tamil nadu... He may also claim sambar has originated from tamil nadu
But Sambar technically originated from Tamil Nadu, Tanjore is in Tamil Nadu, isn't it ?
The name itself has Mysore in it who in their right mind thought it was from anywhere else .😂
Raja pratyaksha Dhaiva.. That was Sri Nalwadi Prabhugalu 🙏🙏
True -- He was Great King RAMA RAJYA
South Indians means all are not Tamilians. We Kannadigas also exists in the peninsula. We are proud of our Mysuru Pak. Karnataka is also the South Indian state. We gave a very rich history like any other parts of india. So we Proud Kannafigas are also South Indians.
Best Mysore Pagu is it is just hard and we need to bite into it to break. But the worst is a goo created by Krishna Sweets and twist the name to "Mysore Pa" and it melts like butter. And people going ga ga over it. Everyone praise it sky high and every other sweet shop chain follow to churn out same goo and call it Mysore Pak.
One day in another chain of sweet shop in Trichi, they had labelled same kind of goo labelled as Mysore Pak. When I remarked this goo is not traditional Mysore Pak, he brought my attention to another display in his window which looked like our traditional Mysore Pak. He called it something like 'Hard' Mysore Pak.
i hate hard mysore pak. prefer the gooey mysore pak. preferences not have to be a fact
Common sense isn't common these days.
Hence proved!
Paka means sugar and water boiled to a point it forms thin gel like kind so it's ready for any powder to put in... So it was Mysore Paka, then people to people called it Pak.
Ohhhh.. it is clear now. In Tamil the syrup is called paahu
For DMK, its PERIYAR PAKA 😂😂
