Great job Chad! Would love to get back to PR! I understand about the wind and the lightweight drones. Can be nerve wrecking! LOL! Your Mini 2 held up well! I am still considering getting that 107 Certificate but some of the crap on the study guide is a bit confusing and having to read those sectional charts suck! LOL! Still, I may go forward and get it anyway as the drone laws continue to constrict the throats of hobbyists, thanks to the many stupid things people still do with drones. Thanks for sharing!
I recently returned from Panama and used my Mini 2 to capture some great footage for the most part. In one very beautifuil section of Panama (Gorgona), I really wanted to fly the Mini 2 over the beautiful white sand beaches but it was too windy (wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour). I attempted it, tho'. I launched the drone and it was being tossed about like a feather. Scary. I was able to reasonably control it as long as it was close by. To fly it out for some distance would have been a mistake. I used common sense and packed it away. 🙂I love my Mini 2.

I'm from Mayaguez which is the next town. We used to skip school and go to boqueron all the time. You should if you have the time go to crash boat beach in aguadilla it's gorgeous out there. Nice video really takes me back but it's only been a few years since I've been out to PR. My parents and sisters still live there.
I've heard Crash Boat was nice. Didn't get a chance to go there.

Headed there with my fam in July. We’re there any restrictions for flying? It’s a small island with lots of no fly spots. Did you run into any issues getting the mini into the air? Which app did you use?
No issues...there were just restrictions near the airports which I was far from. Used the DJI fly app

Lol..yeah. the Mini 2 and Air 2S is all I have right now. Still waiting forr my Mini 3 Pro to get here. It's on a slow boat to North America.
