Great start to the season. I sure am glad to own a trapline and have the exclusive rights to trap the area. It must be tough when a trapper can trap any public land.
In northern Wisconsin, beaver season is almost 6 months long, from the first Saturday in Nov until April 30th. I hope to average around $25 at auction, but I'm only selling my small, medium, and XXL... The rest I'll get professionally tanned, and made into blankets, pillows, or sell as tanned hides. I also sell the castoreum and skulls.
Wisconsin is such a beautiful place
Nice haul on the beavers my friend! Thank you for sharing and Good luck with everything!

Wheres your parents at lol.. This would make for a great quote on a T-Shirt for beaver trapping. And showing a picture of a beaver in a trap.

yeah, especially now that the price of beaver is up a little,, every trapper is out in the swamps.
are you going to be trapping in Alaska again this winter?
not this year. I might do some trapping in Montana and possibly in Virginia.
How long is the season there? Also, what is the going rate for beaver these days?

@@tier1trapper747 Heck of a long season! 25 is decent I suppose.
If you are going to trap far off road, think about a Havolon.knife.knife and 20 blades less than a pound I would be lost without mine..
