I have a tip for you for the bathroom sink floor that opens down to the basement storage. If you put a big container down there you can use this as a laundry chute. I know that doesn’t sound like much but when you have all your laundry going down into a basket that way you don’t have to carry it down the steps and it’s really cool to just drop it down the shoot. Just a little tip there that I think might interest a lot of people. Excellent RV!
Great video presentation, thanks! This does look like a better than average built unit. Suggestion.. consider showing a small clip with the slides in, folks that travel a lot want to see what is usable/accessible while on the road.
Great job on the cautionary towing with a 1/2 ton. The hitch/pin/bed weight is going to be the number to watch, most 1/2 ton pickups max cargo/bed weight is 1500, some at 2,000 pounds. 1500 plus the weight of tools, people , gas, 5th wheel bed box, and you’re over 1/2 ton max bed weight.
We have this camper. It was touch and go for our truck ( a gas Ford F350) to pull on anything but flat ground. Now we have a F450 diesel and don’t have to worry anymore. No camper this size can be pulled safely by a half ton.
@@Myamirah - I have a RAM eco-diesel rated to tow 12,500 pounds. But the bed weight is just over 1,500. It’s a sweet truck, but… the bed weight/CCC is the kicker.
Myles, I thoroughly enjoy your videos!! I am interested in the Cougar Half Ton series, especially the 24 RDS. Have you made a video of it, yet? I tow with a 2500 Chevy Diesel, so I am assuming this truck would fit fine with this Cougar series?
Hi, love your videos. I love this fifth wheel but I have a question in regards to the dinning table. Is their a way to get a both dinette in a model like this one instead of the table? I would love to have a model like this but would rather have a both for extra sleeping. Keep the videos coming.😊
I just wish it had electronic leveling. Is that something that can be installed? Or does the newer 2023 version have it? That would be wonderful. This would be perfect for my husband and I. We have a full time plan.
I don’t make the RVs or put that writing on there, the manufacture of the RV does. So while technically it falls below the weight that some half tons can pull in total, I would still recommend a 3/4 ton because I would not recommend my customers to push it that close.
It's because the pilot bearings and wheel seals on the rear end of a 1/2 ton truck wont last long when towing a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer. They are not designed for the heavy weight. That's why you need a 3/4 ton. they are heavier made and designed for the weight.
The flooring is not more durable than traditional wood flooring. They are having insurance claims that has to have everything removed out of the Rv and then the floor can be replaced. This flower cannot have small sections repaired. Also, these floors start to sag in high traffic areas.
Where have you seen that information? Can you provide a reference and when this issue began occurring? I have not had this occur with any of my customers

It says it sleeps 6 people. MB sleeps 2, couch pulls out to sleep 2, where's the other 2? I like this unit.

We have a 2021 30RLS with 4 point leveling.
Why do you say it’s half ton towable then you recommend a3/4ton . It even says half Ton towable on the front of the rv . Looks to be false advertising
