This video demonstrates how to create pie charts using the “Legacy Dialogs” in SPSS. Creating multiple pie charts based on levels of independent variables is reviewed.
I find it amazing the things that can be accomplished if you have the right tools and know how to use them. This video opened my eyes to the possibilities of using such charts, specifically when doing research and breaking down the information so that it has clarity and good visual space.
Pie charts are nice because most people understand them and they are easy to read. It is easy to interpret and would be useful to share data with clients. This will be useful!
Really enjoyed the different pie charts broken down into rows and columns with the values of individual cases. Pie charts are a great example for analyzing data that I will use so the video was very helpful!
Easy to follow instructions for pie charts. The separate variables with rows and columns was a great view of the pies for comparison. The individual cases seemed a little too busy but a little better once rows and columns were added.
I'm creating the pie chart but when it creates it shows the graph that you demonstrated on minute 5:54. I am doing demographics, I have for example 20 Peruvians but instead of showing it as one part of the graph it shows as 20 separate Peruvians. Help?!

I love pie charts! This is a good way to calculate percentages and gives us a better idea of our subject while analyzing data.

Very helpful and easy to follow along.
Thank you so much for this tutorial.
You're welcome, thanks for watching -
I like visuals. So pie charts are great. This video was helpful because I didn't know you could make pie charts in SPSS

Thank you! :D
I'm not tech-savvy however, creating charts in SPSS appears easy to follow.
