The lead guitarist's name is Angus Young...a true guitar prodigy with how he moves and plays. It has been jokingly said about him that he is so proficient at the guitar, he could fall down a flight of stairs while playing it and not miss a single note. :)
The crowd was about 250K happy people loving AC/DC

I saw them twice with the original singer, Bon Scott. Brian Johnson was a great replacement. ACDC Rocks!

One hell of a tight band. They had several elements that make for some great music: they made hard rock, kept a good groove, and in my opinion most importantly, they kept it fun. Lots of hard rock bands out there have skilled players and even some good chemistry, but they don't bring the fun like AC/DC.

@@kroberts444 yeah ur probably right... and this ain't against their Scottish ancestry but Bon Scott RIP is actually buried here in my hometown or city Perth Western Australia and his parents still live ere...he actually wrote Highway to Hell based on a Highway ere in Perth called the Canning Hwy which goes from a local pub called The Raffles Hotel all the way down to Fremantle which is his resting place... Fremantle Cemetery and Jailbreak is written about a prison in Fremantle which is no longer operational... much respect to Scotland

When you get to that level it's hard to rank but they are, no doubt, rock and roll royalty.

Playing guitar (including the 1-handed part in the solo) is pretty easy. The hard part is writing something of this calibre
They have made more money out of t shirt sales than many small countries make in a year.
Angus wears the school uniform because when he was 15 years old he came to band practice after school and he didn’t have time to change his clothes. The band said “you should wear this as your stage outfit” and so did and has never worn anything else on stage. Angus and Malcolm Young started AC/DC in 1973. 🇦🇺👏
Yeah Doug 🎶 i saw u REACT to AC/DC my first time was ca 1978 or 79 in same energi and style the only change is the singer hi was UNIC in style and performing a really good to read audience i was out in the Swedish countryside and raced a bikecross race and when the race was over so was a very loud guitarist playing from a house i get over and have a look and the was my first time i saw ac/dc i have never before seen a band as was so energy and good in my life i was in chock..and i think the audience was 85 to 95 people ha ha ha ha and look and compere the audience in River plate 2009 ha ha ha ha 🤯 🇸🇪❤️🇺🇲❤️🇸🇪🤯. R.I.P BON SCOTT. Musicians like this is over and out from the Earth 🎶..this is a band as is from the 70s. 🎶This era when they are gone is totally over 🎶 its no heart in music more it just money money for what for nothing all good music going 90s down..00down..10down..20..over and out all good Artist just puff gone

Watch them first time live when they fronted Black Sabbath in Lund, Sweden 1977, I was 17 years old, born midsommar 23 of June 1960, I did not know about Ac/Dc before that concert... I still gets "electric" when I listen to them...😂😊❤

The school uniform. From what I heard, he first joined his brothers band while he was still in school. He would go to practice still wearing it. It became his thing.

FYI: the biggest open air concert was METALLICA, WITH OVER 1MILLION+ IN ATTENDANCE.

AC/DC never played concerts. They gave a religious experience. AC/DC evolved when the Music played was more important than how photogenic they were.
I am late to the party here. Ok, so you want to learn guitar. Seeing your reaction videos, you wanna learn electric rock guitar. To give you an idea of where to start, I suggest Marty Swartz aka Marty Music. Great teacher. Guitar takes practice and dedication. To give you an idea, Angus Young and Malcom Young of AC/DC had been playing for well over thirty years by this point. Angus Young is playing a Gibson SG guitar, Malcom Young is playing a Gretsch. Check out Marty Music beginner electric guitar to get an idea where to start.

i just don't understand why everyone reacts to the riverplate vids. sure, it's an impressive crowd, no doubt. but the band is a shadow of their former selves. the performances are so inferior to so many others. AND, it's criminal to listen to johnson singing bon's songs, before you've heard the originals. brian's voice sounds shot, angus can't even play his solos like he used to. there are SO many better versions to listen to.
What a shame that first time RUclips reactors only watch River Plate videos.
