- WHAT A MESS!! We decided to tackle the wiring nightmare on this old Peterbilt 379 Flattop. The Wiring could have caused a horrible fire, burning this truck to the ground! Not today, as this truck is getting a complete makeover. We had to make sure the wiring was all in order before huck riveting in the new panels! When you boys finish this truck I will tip my hat TWICE to you both! Your parents did a great job raising the two of you.
We appreciate it!
I have almost the exact truck, and this is the most informative feed I've found. Its good to see young men not afraid to get dirty and not scared to charter unchartered grounds.
The truck is really coming along. Keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍
Keep it up amazing job
We will!
Great video as always guys! Keep up the fantastic work and be safe.
Thank you! Will do!
u r doing great with the trucks & the videos, keep them coming
Thanks 👍
You know what be fun if one day you guys get a day cab and put a sleeper on it, that is something I’ve never seen
That would make for an interesting build!! We had a friend that did that with his W900.
I like the factory color burgundy ,with black fender I think it would look real cool
What a nightmare! Kind of ironic that you're having wiring troubles on a truck with a mechanical engine...just imagine how bad the wiring would be if it were a newer electronic one. Truck is coming along great though, I applaud you guys for tearing it down this far and focusing on all the little details. It will be like a brand new truck when you're done with it. I'd take a "brand new" 1990 Peterbilt over a brand new 2020 one any day.
A new 2020 Pete glider has some more wiring than the 1990, but I agree with you on a new factory truck being a birds nest of wiring. My coronado is 2015 and it has about as much wiring as my buddies pre 2000 Classic.
Agreed! These old trucks are simple. Don't get me wrong, a new truck would be nice, but I would get lost trying to figure out wiring issues!
You guys are doing an awesome job. Looks great. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much!
Great job guys! It’s so good to see young blokes with such a great work ethic 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you! Appreciate it!
I need to come to guys shop I have 1984 359 Pete 300 wheelbase 8in stacks
Yes you do!
Dont know if you guys ever herd of diy auto tune but they make some really nice cost friendly weather pack kits incase you needed stuff like that
Thanks for the suggestion!
Looks like an aircraft carrier to me. Should be able to land an F-18 hornet on those long frame rails. That frame is so long that the cab of the truck will arrive 20-minutes before the load does.
Hope that's not the seats for the truck the Ol' Man was working on in the background!! Stiff ride. Doing great guys!!
If im not mistaken, those come out of a Mini Cooper a few years ago lol. We threw some casters on them to wheel around the shop
Could be... You never know with us...!! HAHA!
Still loving the video's guys, ye keep at it 👍
Thanks 👍
Oh yeah, great job... lets see if I can throw a twist in thinking future.... like a first ever Pete for a restore... I would do one but I would cheat and only use the cabin and stuff with a life again tore up Pete that needs a cabin and hood and that list could take a page... great guys
Doing great, ya need insulation in trucks, good looking mile long day cab lol
HAHA! It is a must for trucks up in the north!
I was hoping the video would be longer
We cant have everything! Figured you didn't want to watch us wrap up wires for hours!!
What do you think approximate what that would you money wise
Good job cleaning up that spaghetti mess wiring. Looking great.
Thanks 👍
Great job!!! I'm your fan from ARGENTINA
Thank you for the support!
I love your videos guys, I watch every one but Jesus Christ can you please choose some better music to play. Nothing more manly than a bunch of dudes working on hot rod Pete's and techno dance music......
said no one ever. Other than keep up the great work.
HAHA!! I wish there was better music out there. Everything has to be "No Copyright".
BRUCE WILSON PAID ME TO DISLIKE UR VIDEO ..😁
HAHA...And why would he do that..?
