While in Moab we saw thousands of different builds and a majority of them had one thing in common. Their tires! We were lucky enough to ride along with ICON, in their rigs, which featured the Nitto Trail Grapplers, and see first hand why these tires are along with the best out there when it comes to trail riding. I'm running Pro comp xtreme mt2 tires on my jeep wangler YJ and I love them have the pro comp steel wheels too. I love the set up and got all 5 wheels and tires for 1500 bucks.
Question? It's a great video and great job at hyping up the consumer to buy a set of Nitto Trail grapplers but all I saw were the K-SPEC Trail Grapplers. Why do a tire review and not show the actual product you talking about?
Trail Grapplers are junk up here where I live. Had them on several vehicles I've bought but they are just a name not effective. I'm glad you brought up the fact that they aren't as good in the north. Most people don't consider that and just buy em cause they are popular.
I'm in the pacific northwest, what tire would you reccomend? I drive a JKU
I loved my Trail Grapplers they were great tires until I got a set of Mickeys Baja Boss gonna run them in Moab this early summer and see if they are as good at slick rock as they are in gumbo, sand and snow. My vote for best wear and longevity goes to Toyo M/T good in mud and sand Not a winter tire at all. Just my personal opinion. 16 2dr Rubi

Stop looking for a metric size, you're 295/75 is a 35" diameter and less than 12" wide. You're not finding pizza cutters like that anywhere larger than a 13" wheel or a 26" diameter.
What all terrain tire should I use on my 2016 4Runner trail edition, Arizona Rocks, cactus, and Sand.
Toyo rt. That's my terrain in lake Havasu also.

We just got done running the Nitto Trail Grapplers in Moab and they could not be stopped!
I ran the Toyo and it was the best AT I’ve ever had, then went to the MT and it’s even better

Did Nitto change the side pattern on the Trail Grappler? Looking on their website, both sides look different than on the rigs in your video
It is possible they could have updated the side pattern on the tires with their newer models!
@@TrailBuilt I was wondering. Seems like the new patterns on both sides are more similar. I liked the old version
I agree, it is interesting I have seen a couple of different tires brands now that have done that!
The 40" version has the lugs on the side, other sizes dont
It's ONLY available on the 40x13.5R17 Only the 17in will give you the extra sidewall
Not a good choice at all where I am.
You cant do a fair comparison unless you compare the tires side by side with another tire or tires. Compare this Nitto to a M/T tire.
