- In Juma’s first new gaming pc build, no display on the monitor appeared when he turned it on for this first time. After following some troubleshooting videos on RUclips, he contacted Ash from HealMyTech, and this issue turned out to be possibly the STUPIDEST mistake I have ever come across yet. So in this video we cover some of the first time pc builders’ mistakes to avoid after successfully troubleshooting this no display issue.

Just built my first pc and I watched lots of building tutorials and non of them ever mentioned a post test 😭 biggest mistake ever because now I’m binge watching all your troubleshooting videos wish me luck on fixing it!
The clicking of the ram in a pc is something that I always hear when installing them since my childhood. This man who built this pc must be living under a rock. By the way, it was a really nice and funny video.
Simms of many decades ago didn't behave as today's RAM stick.
@@maynnemillares true bro, but I was not born many decades ago as I am just 18 now. We had or first pc around 12 to 14years back. It had a pentium d series processor, 512mb ram ddr2, and a 80gb HDD. Even today I am having that pc in my dad's house. We bought and assembled a few pcs since then.

I've built 20 computers in my time. And the one I built this week nearly broke me. I checked everything under the sun, all except for my memory stick because I was convicned it was properly installed. Turned out the top of the stick wasn't fully clipped in (hidden from me bcause of the AIO radiator) and here I am crying from happiness and disappointment. Ty for the video.

I used to fix cars. The most common reason a car was towed in was because it was out of gas. The first thing I did when a car was towed in was to check the gas gauge. I like trouble shooting simple problems. Trouble shooting complicated problems can be complicated.

@@leviwhitman1155 Yes, with a complicated thing the problem can be complicated, but it can also be a simple problem. Look for the simple problem first. Don't start off looking for the problem that makes you look like a genius. For example when you computer seems broke because it won't come on, the motherboard or CPU can be dead, but it also can be unplugged from the wall. Check to see that it is plugged in before you replace the CPU.
I want to know what mistake I did... I bought a new PC, assembly PC, install windows then install epic games desktop app, then decided to turn off the tv and after one hour tried to turn on the TV.. no signal... Then connected pc on a monitor with HDMI, then after that with display port... No signal... Remove ram, put again them in, remove GPU put it again... Check all cables... remove CMOS... Did all things from youtube and still not working ... I am getting into rage mode :D

my pc has worked for years, i got a new cpu the other day and it worked fine. my whole pc is on, kb and mouse are on, fans spinning but no signal to the monitor. my motherboard has a solid orange light and last time it did that i had to get a new psu, but if my psu is messed up again wouldn’t my pc NOT be turning on?
i'd say if you still have the old cpu and you know it still works you should be able to retest it on the motherboard first before coming to the conclusion that the power supply is bad.
I didn't have this issue, I decided to swap the gpu power cables and it booted and displayed the screen :D
Okay so I've just built a new pc with all brand new parts, but classic no post right, I've triple checked everything is plugged in properly and all my parts are compatible, brand new monitor as well that I have used with my xbox a time or 2, I can't seem to figure it out

Just got a new pc, mounted the gpu because was sent separately, everything turns on but no signal on monitor tried different cable, all plugged in gpu or moderboard , tried tv , nothing, I'm lost, also I checked the ram it's all good
If you apply enough thermal paste to the RAM sticks you don't have to make them go _click._
Mine clicked, all good. Still nothing :( Bios is updated on the Asrock MB. all cables are secure, HDMI plugged into the correct spot (no GPU yet) No conflicts on System Builder. No I didn't do the breadboard thing because I wasn't aware of it at first. Power button works, but the reset button does not. I've tried every possible placement of those pins, there are only two. But even so, without the reset I should still get a monitor signal right? There is nothing else on the board except an additional fan, the SSD card and a HHD on the underside (also correctly plugged in, etc)
The Asrock B450M 4.0 manual is horrible. There are no photos of where to put what. Just lousy diagrammes with no explanations . Some MBs have the pins colour coded, not this one.
And no beeps, probably because there isn't any speaker. There is really nothing much to this build because I don't have a lot of money, it's a basic plain-Jane nothing fancy build. :(
Any other ideas?
@Scubarayy I was under the impression that the ASrock card would work at the 2GB video rate without a GPU card. But then I found out my Ryzen 5 does not have internal graphics capability, so that's why I wasn't getting a signal. I put in my old 2GB GPU and it worked just fine. Again, some of the newer Ryzen CPUs will come with the graphics again later this year. It's just odd that the motherboard came with the VGA and HDMI slots when it wont' work without a GPU card.
I am using a Ryzen 5, Asrock B550 pro, t force Vulcan 16 GB Ram, and a 450 wat EVGA power supply, and my monitor does not turn on, what could be the mistake, I am only 13 and I spent literally my life savings that I have been saving up for so long to get a pc and the monitor doesn't turn on, is there anything that you noticed is wrong with the PC from that info or do you need more. PLEASE HELP ME, I do not just want to have a box sitting around that I spent all my money on sitting around. And no, I did not use a single one of my parent's dollars.

@@zulu6756 my issue was the RAM that I bought was bad so I went an bought a different one and it worked.
@@christiansilva9911 Was it RGB? Because mine works I think since it's RGB turns on
I'm at 4:50 in, and I'm pretty sure that he didn't plug the extra power supply cables into the motherboard.

That's even more basic than forgetting to put all of the power cables on.
