      *ATTENTION Miles* VIDEO SUGGESTION!
OMG You got to try this out!
      Baking with Miles Video:
      - make an ultimate nut & seed butter mix out of all your favorite brands and add extra nuts and chia/flax seeds to add crunch + all your favorite toppings (optional).
      - make a piper knuckle + sourdough bread swirl loaf. Buy raw sourdough and piper knuckle dough and mix them together like a marble swirl cake.
      - Make toast out of this bread, spread the nut butter on top, add avocado, dates, and other fruits + top hemp seeds/tahini.

I have had ADHD all of my life. I remember sitting in class as a child and looking at all of the other students and wonder to myself how they were able to pay attention to the teacher and suddenly know how to work the math problem! I thought I wasn’t smart at all. It wasn’t until I recognized my problem and learned the best ways for me to concentrate. I, too, couldn’t follow directions. I would have to visualize them, or I simply couldn’t focus long enough to retain the info.

And yeah I've had some similar struggles, with kratom, with panic attacks, my fiancée swears i have ADD, and i do believe they are from past trauma. It's a daily thing to choose happiness, open mindedness, and self improvement and i wouldn't have it any other way.

Wow. Thank you for sharing this Miles. As someone who has struggled with similar issues and was resistant to taking medication for a long time I can attest to the difference it has made BUT we need holistic approaches as you say - both medicated and non medicated approaches. And it totally depends on the person. No one can tell you what your own body needs, but you have to be willing to take charge of your health and try different things to see what works for you. It takes such courage. Thanks again

I rarely comment, but the ADHD topic hits close to home for me. While I dont’t agree with ADHD stemming from trauma, since it seems to be a genetic trait passed down on my dad’a side of the family (including me), trauma can impact the severity of symptoms and vice versa. Happy to see you’re finding a treatment that is working for you thus far Miles! I remember the first time I was on medication, I was not only blown away with the level of focus I had to listen in conversations, but also with how much easier it was to do basic tasks (laundry, change clothes, schedule) that i usually procrastinated like crazy.
Also, if you haven’t looked into it yet, there are statistics showing that people with ADHD are at higher risk for addictions, and even from personal/familial experience, that stands to be true. There are some serious disadvantages to having a neurodivergent brain, but I can honestly say that learning how they function, makes it so much easier to work with it and be more understanding/kind to ourselves. And besides, without us, the world would be less interesting, as we tend to be creative/atheletic types 😸

Plus complex ptsd for past 20 years.. so I don’t know what worse or whether it’s the ADHD or ptsd causing my brain to malfunction and constant feeling like I’m either overwhelmed to the point of breakdown or am just floating and dissociation / numbness . Or like overly emotional and unable to handle life’s intensity. I get it.
Definitely been misunderstood in all jobs and friendships I’ve ever had and got into serous hospital/ financial crisis es from impulsive actions
Until I realised this is really needs to be addressed ….
I wish you so much wellness of this journey of grounding and to love yourself despite it all 💚

@@ne5464 i think i have similar but im a bit overwhelmed/confused .. i was diagnosed with bpd a long time ago but now i realise i prob have ASD and ADHD, the symptoms are so similar to bpd but the suididal ideation etc ones could be cptsd instead as i did never fully resonate with the bpd as fully true to me and think it just delayed finding out more what was up. Masking and trauma made it much worse in my life. I just feel so sad right now as if i see my mother i get symptoms that seem like ptsd before during and esp after for days i cannot function and cry loads abd shake and any progress i made goes worse and i get more confused about myself. All i was trying to do was see her a few times a year but even after 2 hours im totally ruined.. just want to know for sure whats up and have a break from everything
