It took me a very long time to finally get a multi-output scart distributor, but I finally did and I couldn't be happier with the results. This allows me to send one signal to my stream, the other to the TV and two more to anywhere I choose. Gaming on a CRT is a lot of fun, but it's not the only way. I use the OSSC myself and the results are FANTASTIC on a modern LED TV. Whatever your set-up, just be cool, be happy and be fun! Feel free to leave a comment below and I will personally respond. Thanks.

Been looking at the DTV for a while it's sorta a dream crt of mine. I have the LCD version of the DTV but hope I can get the crt someday

We are operating at the highest possible limit!
Fantastic monitor, great setup!

Yeeeeeee boi thanks a lot!
BOOM!!!
doubt you remember me but a while back i bought a jp gdemu dreamcast from you like 2 years ago and you mentioned that i should check out your channel. i brought it to a meet up at my bf's house and we had a blast playing all the games on it. beat my first play through of sonic adventure 2 with everyone that grew up with one super nostalgiaing. just wants to say thanks for helping make those memories~(>w
Wow, that's incredibly thoughtful of you to give such kind words and follow up all of these years later. I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy it for many more years to come, as well as find some value here on my channel. Feel free to say hi any time, and check out my links for my twitch, discord and other spots I'm active on the internet. Most importantly, keep up your positivity and continue to enjoy that Dreamcast. You made my day!
Very nice setup
I appreciate you!
Love it
The Iron man!
I mostly notice a color difference frrom RGB to YPbPr. Reds and Blues seem especially brighter in RGB.
Yeah dude, it's definitely has great range in its colour palette.
Right on. Glad to see this, love this kind of stuff.
Glad to hear it. I'll post more of these types of videos whenever the desire to do so brews within.
Potentially getting one for a decent price with extron. The dt-v1700 that is.
Film on the front needs replacement though 😔
If the film isn't torn or damaged, but spotty, you can remove it with a lot of cleaning. That's ultimately what I did with mine and it looks great now.
I've got the same monitor and I'm having OUT OF RANGE sync using the Dreamcast. I don't know if the cable is a very cheap one, or if is something I can setup on the monitor. Have you got any idea? Thanks a lot =)
I would need more information to help you. What kind of connection are you using for the Dreamcast? Also, the monitor is quite finicky. I recommend getting the scart RGB card that I showed in the video. It solves a lot of sync issues.
Hello! Did you have any luck with yours? Mine has the exact same symptom : 240p : Out of Range (or No Sync depending of the console) I have the Scart to BNC from Retroupgrade which i think is a good one thank you
I am thinking of buying this model, but I would like to know if this model handles 240p…. I was looking at the manuals and I only see that it drives 480i and up. Could you confirm if it can be played at 240p games ?thanks in advance !
great video!
Hey, thanks for the comment. Yep, 240p, good to go my friend.
@@hdrgb So I don't need any adapter for 240p... I don't understand why only 480i appears in the manual... in any case, thank you for your kindness.
@@gorytechno480i is 240p....If you see distinct horizontal scanlines in 480i mode without jittering/flickering in the image then it is running a clear progressive scan / non-interlaced image (240p). The monitor/crt never directly shows on the screen that it is running at 240p.
All consoles before the 5th gen natively run all of their games in 240p using composite, S-VIDEO, component and RGB Scart/BNC.
Do you still make videos man? Looks like this is the last one you put up 5 months ago. What happened?
Very cool of you to inquire, I appreciate that. RUclips video making is very time consuming and not always fun, so I stopped doing them regularly. Most of my online content is on Twitch, as I like to Livestream my retro games. If you haven't already, check me there as I'm quite active. www.twitch.tv/hdrgb
Other than that, when I feel inclined I'll definitely make a video and post it here, so don't lose hope in me!
