This was a really well done video. I think you sold me on the board. I wanted to see it perform in this kind of skating and you displayed that very well. Excellent video work!
So enjoyable to watch you cruise about campus - thank you and thanks to your mate for capturing it on video for all of us to enjoy! I find it impressive that you power slide on 60mm 78A wheels so easily and capably. Cheers!
Amazing man, your style reminds me a lot of the OG skaters like Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta and the Z Boys in general, very classy but rad way of skating! Love it, cruising is the pinnacle and heart of skating, we all fell in love w just being able to ride anywhere.
Saved this one.. lol. Felt the stoke. It's a straight up cruising video, added in with the Landyachtz "Chillest day longboarding Ever" vid.. I love that one too.
I really liked the video. It is always interesting who is the person who is filming Ryder on camera. What kind of skating level does he have if he keeps up with the rider and filming at the same time.
Justin Bright is the filmer and he's also an incredibly skilled skater. We were both team riders for Original together for several years back in the day before I started riding for Landyachtz
Hell yeah. I've been trying to figure out what wheels to put on the one I just ordered. I'm used to riding big 85s so was hesitant about the 60s but seeing you ride over everything instilled confidence. Awesome riding! Do you feel it's close to wheelbite if you carved it hard?
The 60s are a chill wheel size with the Dinghy. Little cracks in the pavement may be a bit bumpier than the wheels you're used to but you can push down on the tail of the deck as needed to take weight off the front trucks which makes it easy to go over bumps. And nope, it's not even close to wheelbite
I've seen people ride huge wheels on the Dinghy and just add risers to make sure it can fit the bigger wheels. That's also a fun kind of setup but more downhill cruise-y and less freestyle cruise-y
@@NeenaBeena nice! I ended up going with the 63mm EZ Hawgs as I put wider Indy trucks on and wanted a narrow wheel to rail match. Way smoother ride than I expected.
I would practice getting good at taking turns and getting comfortable at higher speeds. Then learning how to slide because it's fun and good to know how to slow down. Don't forget the safety gear, especially a helmet!
Yes, these are TKP trucks, Polar Bear 130mm. They're the trucks that come stock with the dinghy blunt and they feel awesome on this setup. The trucks carve hard with more of a dive into the turns than RKPs. Because the trucks are so narrow (130mm), you can make suuuuper tight turns. I wouldn't recommend this for much high-speed riding, but for cruising around it's great!
@@AverageDiamondPlayer he's a great filmer but also an amazing longboarder. He pushed fast when I sped up and footbraked while I was sliding / slowing down. And he has a decade of experience with filming skate videos so he knows how to hold the camera super steady

Ooh interesting, what would you call it? Just a regular cruiser? It feels so small to me but I’m used to bigger boards

why? with joy or?
I don't remember 😅 it was 2 months ago
