Just bought the exact same board. Haven't skate since my early teens, i'm 45 now. So glade i got that one. Went for a ride with my oldest kid. Damn, it was so fun. So fun to ride. I can't belive in waited this long to get back into skateboarding.
I dig this vid. I went & got the tugboat and when I put on these same OJ Super Juice wheels the rig got lighter, faster, and rolls over everything. I love it!!!!
What a nice ride. I still can't decide whether to get Dinghy or Tugboat. Can't decide between more foot space Vs bigger wheels. For a beginner and commuting/ cruising like this basically which do you think is better? (I understand you have both).
They are both awesome and it comes down to preference. I prefer the dinghy (dinghy BK to be exact because i like the 8.5 width) because it comes equipped with 63 fatty hawgs wheels vs the 60mm hawgs wheels on the tugboat (Bigger wheels roll easier over cracks and i just like the way the fatty hawgs slide for powerslides). The wheels on the tugboat are also slimmer but the bigger board makes for a more stable feeling ride. Im also a size 8 and ride both of them comfortably
Mikey Anjuna It’s become real confusing coz I saw the new tugboat (wolf) as well as this Bengal one advertised with 63mm wheels so thought that’s perfect but still not sure whether to believe it coz people’s reviews and the pictures even look like the smaller wheels. Anyway thank you, i think I’m gonna have to travel to my country to get to try them both out in a store haha.
Evi Es both of those come with smaller trucks 130mm. Smaller trucks let you run larger wheels. Mikes tug boat has the 155mm trucks so they run the 60mm Chubbies to avoid wheelbite. The dinghy runs 103mm. Hope that helps.
Sweet vid. I have the same board, by far my favourite to take out for a dreamy fun pleasure cruise. I don't have the same level of agility as you, but damn I'm gonna try and make a vid like this.
I like my boards big! I’m size 8 and both my cruisers are size 10 (Powell cab old school board and Santa Cruz Erick Winkowski old school board) just go with what you think will feel good or try something new!
awesome! I just got one that same board. Bought mine complete with the easy hawse wheels. did you replace those, and if so, do you feel like super juices are an improvement?
hello do u skate ur tugboat with the default riser pads that it came with? idk the size of the pads but coming from a low longboard, the pads on the tugboat really messed me up. i have such a hard time pushing and keeping balance bc it’s so high off the ground. love the video btw!!
when i was skating it yes i was using the default riser pads. and i feel ya my new santa cruz cruiser has 1/2 inch risers + 66mm slimeballas and some indy 169s so im pretty high off the ground when pushing too.
M8 PUHHLEES 54mm and below don’t require a riser. 56-58mm I would recommend 1/8 riser. 60-65 1/4 or 1/2 riser. Also depends on how tight you rock your trucks
Hey love the vid! I got a dinghy not too long ago and I absolutely love it. I got the Arctic Fox design but i saw in other comments that you also skate dinghys. I wanted to ask if you loosened your bearing so you could curve easier. I kind of wanted to do it myself but was scared to ruin my board so i was just asking if it was a good idea or if i should just keep it how i got it. Thank you and you got yourself a sub
You won’t ruin your board trying to tinker with anything just don’t over tighten any of the bolts. And if you wanna turn easier and get better carving then I would recommenced loosening your trucks.
sorry for the late reply. took less than 2 weeks to arrive here but i do not remember the exact amount of days. and it does carve well but i like the carving feel of the dinghy bk a little more (maybe cause its better sized for me)
I think you'll be fine with either of them, but my initial impression is that the Tugboat might be a little more comfortable for you :) the Tugboat has a wider board and feels a little more stable than the Dinghy
Been having difficulty learning to foot brake. Noticed you dropped low and put your foot to the rear of the board. Any tips? I always seem to lose my balance
Why did u slap those OJ Super juice wheels and super swiss bearing on there? Were the stock wheels and bearing not good? (Nice vid btw, such a vibey cruise)
Honestly videos like these are more satisfying than some people doing skatepark tricks or just tricks in general
It's the little things

The sound when riding over those concrete joints is like a train. Sounds great.
Riding on them too is the best
45 years old, never skated but I'm about to learn how, just ordered this deck to go skating with my daughter 👍
Are you still in one piece?!
We're still waiting your answer to check if you re still in one piece

Just purchased the tugboat wolf complete and am so excited. Sick video!
You are so good at skating! I hope to get this good one day.. 1 week in, lots to learn!
Thing sounds like a tug boat going over those cracks haha
Nice nose manual.
Wish I was a US suburbs kid... Shit looks like a good easy life
Cool vid👍🏻 I bought that deck and put 129mm Paris trucks and 63mm Hawgs ( off my Rally Cat ). I really like this board.
sick man! rip it up for us xD

Mikey Anjuna Hey man, thanks for posting the vid. Between the Dinghy BK and tugboat which one do you think is more fun to ride?
@@daotran7263 personally i like the dinghy BK:) I like the fatter wheels on there compared to the 60mm on the tugboat.
I need to build up my cardio for cruises like this
stop smoking
but cruising doesn't even use that much cardio

Gratitude!! I hope you enjoy and shred what ever board you end up getting😎
Loved this dude!
Need more videos!
Jango Mango comin soon😎
I really love this video. Thank you
I'm size 9 and still can't decide between the dinghy blunt 8.6" and tugboat 9". Nice relaxing video BTW!

i actually just switched back to the hawgs on both my dinghys! i like the hawgs a lot more!!
Does the complete board come with 63mm wheels?
manuel silvas tugboat comes with 60mm. 63mm fatty hawgs come on the dinghy
@@mikeyanjuna2582does 63 fit on this board? thanks :D
Do you think 63mm hawgs could give you wheel bite?

Mikey Anjuna i see. do u think i can pull it off by skating 60mm with no riser pads lol

Mikey Anjuna ohhh my trucks, not bearings. Did you loosen your trucks on your board? Thanks for the quick response!
@@sebvt3603 yeah I did I like my trucks pretty loose. Start with a quarter turn in both your trucks and see how they feel
Mikey Anjuna Thanks! I better go buy one of those tools then
@@sebvt3603 yeah man get out there and have some fun! I’m sending you love and good vibes bro let me know if you have any other questions
Im size 11 i cant decide between arbor oso and tugboath 32’’. Can you help me?
man, if you would just make videos exactly like this maybe with different type of boards you would blow up
im new to this.. 5,11 sho size 8 1/2.. 160 ... dinghy or tugboat?
Tugboat would be a little more stable ride but can’t go wrong with the dinghy
@@mikeyanjuna2582 oh and did i mention... im 33 never skated
@@NIP28 tugboat then cause you got more to stand on. Dinghy might be a little to nimble for ya
@@mikeyanjuna2582 ok thanks.. il have to try them both... not tryna miss out
How far was the commute, my good sir, if I may inquire?
Hi I’m getting this board and how long does it take for it to arrive. And does this carve well. Thanks. (Pls reply)

Mikey Anjuna yea mine came in two weeks. It fits me well cause I’m only 11 and I’m a beginner so yea
Sick I’m stoked you got the board. Have fun my friend!!
Mikey Anjuna sorry to bother you but what wheels are you using in this vid
Nvm a comment answered that
At 6’2, with shoe size 11.5 should I go for the tugboat or dinghy blunt?

Tugboat all the way!
Mikey Anjuna aight I’ll take ur word for it 👍
