- I take you guys with me to the coast of Massachusetts to do some saltwater fishing from the rocks! There are some BIG fish in these waters this time of year, and we throw some BIG baits to try to catch them. This is my first time ever doing some Massachusetts fishing , but I could not be happier with the outcome. I did not expect for this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 448,400 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

This is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever posted , if y’all enjoyed please hit that thumbs up button for the algorithm , I’m getting a lot of messages saying people aren’t getting shown the videos!
Badass dawg, don’t live near anywhere that has striped but it’s been on the bucket list for sure
What part of Gloucester? I fish Plum island a lot..looking for new spots from shore/jetties/rocks
You should go to Michigan. The UP is beautiful and I’m sure there is great fishing too
Bro come back to Delaware when you can
Saltwater fishing I don’t know maybe I was born in Hawaii so I like saltwater fishing
Love it when a new video pops up. Doing awesome dude, been watching ya for years, keep it up, an enjoy your trip
Great seeing people having so much fun outdoors. Love seeing your enthusiasm for fishing and life. Keep up the great videos
Let's gooo my home state! Love that you finally made it!
Love the saltwater fishing vids keep it up👍
Awesome! Simply awesome; Massachusetts is a lovely state.
18:20 That's a bass!
Glad you finally made it.
Yes a 9 to 10 ft rod heavy power for sure!
Also I usually choose a giant sassy shad 6" from Mister Twister. Were I fish this is the best combo!
Went on a fish for 5 hours didn't catch anything so I was a little down until I realised you made a news vid thanks for the good content 👍
Love this man, living the dream, fishing, traveling the country, and spreading the good vibes, you let me know next time your in eastern mass, I'll show you were to bring that old town, all I ask is to let me go fishing with you haha can put you on a good camping spot too
always love the content!
I have that same rig. Smooth reel, I love it from boat. Might want something a little longer and stiffer for rock fishing from shore though. I know how tough it can be to fish here for stripers but sometimes you fight them until your arms and wrists hurt and you can't wipe he smile from your face ! Great vid to watch today
Yo I am a huge fan! Been watching way berfore you got the Rv you are awesome keep up the great vids!!🔥💯
Those rocks are no joke. You need a good 10 ft rod. Makes it a lot easier to land them and handle them in the current. Great vid! I can hear the excitement
Yea Ik because when I go fishing for salmon and trout there is a lot of rocks
I would go and use 12 plus foot rod but that is because i build my own rods and a long handled net or a pole net for the striped bass on flounder .
@@johnbowe4564 i agree. But going from a 7ft freshwater all the way to a 12ft is a little intimidating. A 10ft will be more comfortable and a good starting one
Well 10 foot for starters or 9and a half would do depending on your budget
Agree 100%.
I was on those rocks a few days ago! Wish you had more meet n greets while going thru the states. Love the striper content 🤙
Where is this
Love this! Your youthful enthusiasm was fun to watch! Saying 'haven't eaten or sat down all day but don't want to leave' is something I bet many here can relate to here. I'm now on vacation in Caraquet New Brunswick fishing only the second time for Stripers and I caught one the most unconventional way ever! I was casting early morning and see a floater in the distance moving parallel to shore. It comes bit closer and after 3 casts I am able to hook into the old line. Fish takes off immediately and does some powerful runs and after a couple minutes I have a 25 incher on shore. No joke, crazy eh!! Tried to get the hook out to release it but unfortunately couldn't even though barbless (that's the law here). Person had used a circle hook (which I never use) and it was just too deep. So ended up keeping it and now have enough filets to easily feed 5 people. Another fishing story for my archives. Tight lines all, take care! 😊
nice littles ones lots of fun!!!
Love you’re videos man
I live and fish in Gloucester all summer, love the vid and awesome seeing u fish in my area
Love the excitement! You’re right about the blitz’s. Next time 9-10. Ft rod with top water plug 8-10 inch and same size for Sluggo swim bait. Reel size 3500 ishhh 40 lb braid 12 inch mono leader. Won’t loose that cow on a line break.
Nice video. I main shoreline striper fishing in Maine. When they hit, it's a blast. This spring was great for top water. Soon i will switch to grubs and sluggos.
love your vids man
North shore baby!
Great video!
Welcome to rockport man, great town with a great fishing community, rockport and Gloucester go hand in hand. Been in both my whole life and there’s great harbors and fishing spots in both
Moved to Texas from Delaware last summer. This makes me miss fishing from the jetty by the bridge on Route 1 to Ocean City from Rehoboth.
I fish that same exact spot in the fall. Man it produces some cows. To the left of where you were sitting near that big rock right before you get into that bay, they all just sit there in the shallow. Check it out next time, and top water would of slayed if you had used one. Awesome video, nice seeing you fish near my home !
LETSSSSS GOOOOOO NEW VID
use like an 8'6 rod fast action medium power, perfect for those conditions and sized fish.also a jerk bait would work really well in that spot!!
Sick rod dude
Thats my hometown. Caught plenty of stripers off those same rocks
i was fishing that day and the amount of huge fish braking on the water is insane
Oh God he's a giant. It's a schoolie
Love Going Rock fishing with my Pops We be going out to Rhode Island 🏝 areas I’ve Caught Black Sea Bass , Crappie , striper , flounder it’s so cool
Plenty of places on Long Island to do some great jetty fishing. I know you've done Montauk, you should be using that same gear. And definitely Korkers or cleated boots on the rocks. Fall run is on now. You want stripers open beaches and inlet jetties are the place to be.
If you want some great rocky shore plug fishing in MA look up Castle Rock in Marblehead MA. Always amazing fishing when I go
Nice vid
Yaaaay!
"There's a lot of water out here". Dude, it's the ocean, yeah, I'd say there's a lot of water 🤣🤣🤣
Omg hahahah 😂😂😂 so funny dude u should be a comedian 😂😂😂😂 😐
A 10 ft rod would be ideal for this kind of stuff, penn prevails are my favourite or a 10 ft ugly stick
get some korkers my man. they've got high ankle support, warm in cold water, drain super well, and they hold about as well as anything on steep rocks in the surf.
Lil late but Les Gooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Could someone go there in the morning and get that poor micro schoolie out of that tide pool? smh
Get some heavier gear man! Get those giants! Keep up the great work man!
Will you be driving through VA anytime soon?
Nice video! Should come to Oklahoma
For sure need a 9-10 ft rod with 6000 size reel
You should come down to Long Island for the fall run
In hawaii we have this special shoes called tubbies im sure you heard of em but it makes it way easier to run and walk on slippery rocks without slipping. Trust me its way easier when youre fighting a big fish
"The water is super clear"
Me: I cant see shit captain
Do a vid on Martha’s Vineyard I’m staying there for a week starting today
Try a burrito with a 1 oz swim jig, or a flutter spoon
When a fish is running and takes off just let it run until it stops, don’t try to reel, if is a big one and you do this it makes it more likely to break your line.
Doesn’t this guy fish all the time? Not sure but I think he understands could be wrong though
Indeed, brother. This goes for all fish also never tighten drag more than 2 1/2 turns of drag as well.
You're 100 percent right
You should look into using bucktail jigs for stripers just pop them off the bottom!0
Great! I fish in Massachusetts and so glad you stopped by! Just curious, what lure were you using?
Looked like a yozuri or an x-rap, they are really good for trolling too.
Diawa sp minnow in chicken scratch pattern
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Try the cape cod canal that place gets insane
I think you should come to canada😂😊😊
Are you keeping the bed warm?
I am from the area, stripers give a great fight, even the small ones.
Mantap kawan sportnya exstrim semangat semoga makin sukses
Give some Suttle upward pops let it drop to the bottom pause then Reel with some more pops with swim baits
Nice stripers Mike..way to stick it out....My Mom, Sis and Brother...live in Easthampton, Northampton and Belchertown MA....we're you on the Cape?
You might want to invest into a Heavier plugging/jig setup.
Vary your retrieves make some pauses and maybe some quick jerks and stops they tend to hit on the pause
Get a pair of korkers bro!
I would like to know where and the fishing point I live here in the region and I am looking for a place where I can fish?
12 minutes late but I’m here
You need a lot booger pole for those rocks like. A ten foot or even more
Try coming to Florida!!!!!
I will be in a few months!
@@FirstStateFishing that’s awesome try the Sebastian inlet it’s the best
Also a duh spoon will work well
Home!
i was there last week and got 5 Stripers
Please more hard bait salt water fishing 😫
Try slowing your retrieve down w the paddletail
those are some really sketchy rocks
You need a longer rod, medium through action. I’d say at least 9-10ft. Daiwa or Majorcraft do some exceptional rods.
dude can you come to the canal early june
Jesus paid my ticket:) yours too!
You need to get a shimano Saragosa for the big fish
100lb braid, 12 ft Penn heavy action rod and a rope to tie yourself down. It's all about preparing for that big one.
I live in mass you need to go all the way down to the end
Ok
10:25 what is that fishing pole your using?
Yo I just fished there a couple of days ago
Wait, what? There's alot of water out there? How does that happen at the ocean.
What rod and reel is that? I would like to get one.
@FirstStateFishing that the back shore of gloucester
I’m not an expert fisherman but I think doing small pauses when reeling in would be good
What's up man I've been fishing California Aqueduct for stripers so when you see stripers jumping out like that yes they are chasing Bait fish over here we call it boils I've been sending you DM on Instagram hopefully you see it one day LOL keep doing your hard work man 🤙
Yoo..! Think you have enough ads in this video..??!?! Lol good video tho.
How much was the rod and reel ?
There is a fish shop near that area
Where spikes over your shoes especially on jetties.
Next time you should we go to Hawaii they don’t have fishing license
I live in mass and i got some recommendations of fishing spots if you want some
What’s up man
Hey if you want your lure to go way out there he’s a drone that works for me
What type of rod are you using
Lews inshore speed stick
what’s the exact location in rockport
Damn you need a way longer rod
great release bud… 🤦🏻
