@Raleigh Denton nope. They grow based upon their diet. That's an old aquarium myth. People typically stunt their fish by feeding them low quality food or by having poor water conditions. For a healthy largemouth you'll need at least a 200 gallon for it to be happy
Subbed. I like catching dinks too lol I was thinking about raising bass fry to help the future of the sport ya know so I stumbled on your channel. It's awesome to see kids with a passion to be an angler. It never goes away bro... It only grows stronger💯 keep it up
Little update for y'all: the bass is now the only fish in the tank and the water is filled to the brim, I also just posted a video of this guy destroying live bait on topwater
The pea are so much cooler, I live in Louisiana where we can’t catch peas and I have one as a pet and I paid 100 for him. I wish I could do what y’all do and walk into your backyard and catch one
1. Peacock was the flashier of the two and the smallest of the three, the least aggressive. 2. Too small of a tank for two bass and a jewel cichlid. 3. I'm fairly sure the baby Mayans would have made good pets as well.
I agree, fir those type of fish you should have a 75-100 gallon. If you're keeping wild fish, please do right by them. That's all I'm trying to say. Plus when those fish reach their full size, they're really awesome animals
Man I'd love to catch one of them Baby Peacocks for my tank...Nice job...Keep Crushing It!! Stay HUMBLE, Stay HUNGRY, Stay FOCUSED...~The Jarhead Entrepreneur
Also you said to let you know anything wrong. For most fish including Bass the rule of thumb is one gallon of water per inch of fish. That tank is pretty large but still not large enough for 3 fish of that size. It might be enough for 2 but with the growth rate of most bass(up to 1pound per year) they will quickly outgrow the space.
Best bait for small bass is guppies or if you can catch tiny minnows from a stream or creek other than that I use flies. Worms work well but you also catch everything you don’t want to catch
You’ve probably learned by now but the easiest way to handle panfish is to make a circle with your hand and run your hand down over the head of the fish to push the spines down and get a grip on it.
wow, subscribed, you are doing amazing bro!!! you should start looking on shopping apps like "5 miles" and "let go" and buy a bigger tank or small pool for cheap, and get some monster fish! keep on, keeping on!
No problem bro when I saw this video it though of my video it was kinda similar to mine but its fun to catch these little fish in put them in fish tanks and its free to do that ensted of buying fish for tanks and its easyer so that's what I wanted to say so enjoy fishing😀😀😀
Make it a live tank my man, get some Caribbean live fresh water sand, and plant some heavy plants with good large rocks and spider wood, add some bio balls for healthy bacteria
I cought a small bass with my castnet took it home and in less then one year it turn in to a huge bass .I have him in a 75 gallon tank but I will need to move him soon to a bigger tank .great video kid keep making these videos great fishing good information 👍
Duuude your so cool! I’m from Florida too, and I haven’t seen your vids in so long, and this is bringing back a lot of memories! Keep up the amazing work! 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
Buddy, a good rule of thumb for pan fish is to hold them so you thumb is on the bottom and the rest of your fingers on the dorsal fin and slide it down towards the tail so you don't have to worry about the fins
Not to brag or anything but all those “little bass” you were catching could eat my smallest largemouth bass ever (~2 inches). Caught mine on a tenago hook with a piece of worm. Great vid!!!
Love your filming and editing, your a small channel but I'm definilty gonna be watching you're RUclips skills compare to the pros keep it up man I can see your channel getting big in the future

Do they not have minimum harvest requirements in Florida? It's illegal here to remove Bass under 12" or 14" depending on location.
No they don't
