Fix Tip - 각각 움직일 부분에는 하나의 마스크만 있어야 합니다 (기존 마스크 삭제) There should be only one mask for each moving part (Delete existing mask) Project file : drive.google.com/file/d/17yylSB2oBXWhA7QvTLypY-WRSVTRE1WF/view?usp=sharing
This is a great tip, I've never thought of doing it this way using masks. I still doing it as all vector based and separate the each bits as object to do something simple. This is a nice trick to do something very subtle but effective to make boring animation to something more interesting.
I have learnt alot from watching korean films and series that koreans are the best when it comes to editings. And the tut is really simple and to the point. 👍Love from india
hello. If there is an anti-aliasing problem, it can be solved to some extent with the anti-aliasing option of wave warp. But it's not perfect. So.. If you use it together with the 'FXAA' free plug-in, it improves a lot. aescripts.com/fxaa/
Thank you for this. I've been experimenting with it and noticed that it's not necessary to have a straight edge in the mask. I've been masking without it, extending to the edges of the composition, and following the next steps, and it works great as well. I'm not sure what could be causing this difference.
Cool tutorial. But man, that transform+end of boundary of the comp trick is so strange. Iam always afraid this will backfire somehow when making it 3d, precompose or something like that. After Effects can be painfully devious sometimes.
Hi, thanks for this very helpful tutorial. I am just wondering if this effect could also be done with real pictures. I am a wedding photographer and can imagine that e.g. a picture of a bride with her dress waving could look very nice. I could impress my clients :)
In a real photo, applying effects to too many areas can look unnatural. If... If I were to do the same thing, I would only move parts of the wedding dress. And this isn't a time-consuming task, so feel free to test it out for yourself. The effect may vary depending on the photo.
Thanks for your video. It's very helpful for me, but I don't know why I set the pinning value to Left Edge but the boundary is not Fix? Could you please guide me, Thank you so much!
1:28 If the layer is at the left end of the entire composition, the boundary should be set to the left, and if it is at the right, the boundary should be set to the right. The key is to move the layer to the left or right edge of the composition.

wave warp in AE has a problem, it make object pixel square break when waving. Zoom in the wave for more understanding.
