I have a 50liter Rugged Long Haul and a Kakwa 40. The SWD pack is a much better built pack than the Durston in my opinion. If I had to choose one or the other I would go SWD. I know this comment is going to get the Durston people upset. I want you to know I also own a X-Mid and plan on getting a Wapta 30 for my day hiking and short trips.

I live in central Florida but fish on the beach from st Australia 2 Miami through tampa 2 Pensacola
Craziest thing I ever caught was close 2tampa bay ....don't know what kind or age but did a safe and successful catch and release of a 2' wide with white belly and the top of the sting ray was brilliant pink

Honestly, Jack's are not "trash" fish. They are very good if you blackened them. That's what I do! Being from New Orleans, you should know know how to do that.

That grass was everyday when I was in navarre beach a month ago made it nearly impossible to fish from the beach and ruined a lot of the fishing during my vacation it was terrible

Awesome day. Great fights on those fish, especially the jack. Beach fishing is on my bucket list. Little hard to do when you live in the desert of Arizona though.
That was a Finetooth Shark, not a Sharpnose.
