Although I think Schnider has a great name and for the most part a great product they are going to be hard pressed to break through the noise unless they do marketing, sales and promotion a lot diffrent then all the others in the space. Thanks for the interview, I didnt even know they were at the show. I was busy with SPAN and our Leviton smart panel team that came to meet us. There are several other players that are under the radar right now, like Smart Main Panel, which uses Eatons "smart breakers" and some other smaller companies trying to get traction. They all need to drop the "electricians" on social media and start partnering with tue solar and electrical contractors channels like you and I.
Well, Schneider did 36 billion in gross revenue in 2023. Leviton hit 1/2 billion, span can only dream of doing those numbers, currently span are just infants with a nice toy, but all companies are small. I've been installing Schinder Off grid systems for almost two decades. They don't have to rush to market like the other guys. Just my two senses.
@@DM-nr5ly what do you think of Schneiders new solar inverter and HV battery? I’ve been waiting for their next development. And the XW are getting out of stock now. I kinda liked the 48v battery systems. Battery prices are 50% the cost vs theirs.
The EVs bring massive 100kwh battery into the home daily. Tesla home battery is 10kWh. A 50m2 rooftop solar PV on a 230m2 roof is perfect. With a micro inverter plug and play system then off grid in the suburbs is very real. Most vehicles are parked 23hrs every day. Daily avg drive is 7kwh, ezi pezi to top up. The EV battery is free with the vehicle, Hahaha 😊 If the grid transmission expands capacity, then the fixed grid costs will expand all the customers electricity bills. Government will stop customers from abandoning the grid. Particularly if nuclear electricity generation is built. Invested money will be protected.
Is this a low voltage inverter like the XW 6548?
I was hoping to learn something about the product.
after you get fed up with the cheap gear you start saving up for Schnider or Victron - stuff that works without a lot of drama
Can you do a cost comparison between SCHNEIDER and SPAN?
We appreciate the recommendation.
