Oh my god!!!!!!!! I go to this exact Fitness19 in Daly City Westlake shopping center all the time. I've seen that guy working and cleaning equipment many times. That's so sad and tragic. I can't believe it.
I actually visited that exact gym, too, on a ClassPass membership as I was driving past Daly City. I remember seeing him as well.
I had a chat with him, he doesn't sound like a violent type.

I went to high school with him and was in the same class as him. I remember him showing off and bragging about his guns online. He would also message girls and threaten to k*ll/r*ape them. People hate following gym rules. Walking barefoot in a gym is dangerous, someone who leaves a weight out and you stumble over it, and can easily injure your toes. The rules are there to protect you. Workout at home if you have a problem following gym rules.

When I was 60 we started looking at when was the best time to plan on retirement, when to take social security and where was the destination(s) for a well deserved vacation; maybe even a cruise where you gain 10 lbs from all the wonderful food. 60 is an exciting age because there's still so much ahead to plan for and experience. You still feel reasonably good so climbing the Spanish Steps in Rome or splashing in the water at the beaches in Mallorca are completely doable. Sadly Mr. Yanga won't get to do any of this. His family will ask the universe "Why?" a million times. He didn't deserve to be gunned down over a dispute at a gym.
