When I first saw the Office those kind of documentaries were so common I thought I was watching a real one, until I thought "this guy can't be for real" it was brilliant. Same with The Day To Day, there was a moment when I thought I was watching a genuine news programme. I think it was the explosive dogs news item I tuned in on and it was just on the edge of credible. I suppose now we have streaming channels those magic moments when we land on a channel mid-programme and take a moment to orientate to what it is you are watching will never happen again.

I was immediately aware that this was not the real "Lord Jesus Christ", when he did not pray before taking a bite of his sandwich, nor did he pray over the plastic spider to bring the breath of life into its lifeless body...then command it to go in peace, and wash in the river Jordan to recieve its sight, but to tell no one how he recieved his new life and restored sight. I watched Big Train back when it was originally on air. I was young but I have always understood great comedy. Like Brass Eye, Alan Partridge, Father Ted, an unseen episode of BigTrain was genuinely exciting. You had no idea what was coming. Miss it. Miss great comedy.
