That warmer climate hopefully is CA for you. Riding a bike in Cali is so enjoyable simply because of splitting lanes and our canyon roads are insanely enjoyable, corner after corner after corner. I will say I am pretty lucky being a 15 minute ride away from highway 9 in the bay, one of my most favorite roads to ride on the weekends and always keeps me entertained.

I let them know that the comments that their buddy made were way out of line and even if i was speeding it is 3am and my mom died and i am trying to get home. the cop ended up not submitting the ticket.

The engines of R1 and R1M are completely identical, the swing arms are also identical minus the color.. only differences are electronic suspension, carbon fiber fairings, and gps lap timer also stock tires are slightly different sizes
Tbh the R1 and R1M has the same exact engine. Only differences is the motor and the CF fairings and also the r1m has aluminum swing arm and 200’ rear tire. That’s it.
I had a ticket in a neighboring town. Paid it. Literally 2 years later I get a phone call telling me to pay the ticket or they come and get me. I had to show them a receipt from 2yrs prior THAT I ACTUALLY KEPT FFS or I'd have had to repay the ticket or be arrested. Keep receipts any time you deal with govn't.

The regular R1 has Titanium internals also its the same motor as the r1m the r1s has a different motor

Magnesium has less ion current running through it. Aluminum depending on thickness isn’t much lighter.
