I believe there were two divisions of Seiko (Suwa Seiko and Daini Seiko) that competed for designs. They each had a distinct logo and it appears the Heimdallr 6105 has Seiko's Suwa logo at the bottom of the dial just like on the original.

Heimdallr was a Norse God who was the guard/lookout at the Rainbow Bridge. He held onto the Gjallarhorn (the great big trumpet) to warn others of trouble.

Heimdallr is a cool name, but it has nothing to do with a shark. Imagine the brand is named Thor and the logo is another sea creature. For that pretentiousness, i prefer the Steeldive's logo.
