And, even if it's "boring", it's representative of the top level in this game, there is minimal variety but it's how it is, and it's imo still interesting and fun to watch in its own way. It's not fun to get your ass kicked by those team while you're playing with fun teams that's for sure, but it's nice to have a showcase of how the game is at high level. But yeah I agree that a ratio tourney could be a lot of fun.

Watching the first set of the video & uhhh.. This gameplay looks like if two new MvC2 players are fighting each other. No combos or anything really. Just assist call outs & supers being spent with like a punch or 3 🤣 Now to continue watchin'
That is high end MvC2. It’s not about ToD combos or being particularly stylish. It’s a lot more about assists, movement and making the most off of stray hits.

As an original MSP player, i was exclusively using that lightning attack storm assist since like 2004. It's always been good in certain situations. I can't recall anyone else from that era using it that much.
