I just purchased one, and I was not able to pressurize the carbon side like you have it here. How you have it is not how the manual says it should be run. I figured out the carbon side is leaking air from the center tube, not sitting tightly to the out port. I cut a 1/2 silicone tube and jamed in it there to create a tight seal. , I can now pressurize the carbon side, and it now rains like it's supposed to. Water lvl should not be higher than the bottom white plate. I see many videos like this one and some properly run. Seems like avast quality control issues. Great video, not many out there on this equipment. Good luck, happy reefing .
Had no clue this existed. I also have been curious but never took a chance because the fear of it. Now id feel way more comfortable with this kit. Thanks for sharing! 🙌🔥💯👌
No problem! The Avast Reactor alone has done a great job with carefully adding Ozone to the water. When I heard about the add-on kit, it was a no-brainer to get it and make things a little safer because...why not? :)
I wouldn't get it unless you plan to regularly monitor ORP. Depending on what's doing the monitoring, if you're going to use an aquarium controller, there's certainly a good value in having continuous monitoring and data recording. On my ProfiLux controller, I get to track how ORP changes throughout the day. The number itself isn't too important to me. What I'm after is the stability of that parameter. If I see a sudden spike or drop, the ProfiLux will notify me. That's when I know somethings up and I should check the tank... There's a great value in having that type of information.

Nice walkthrough Vinny
Thanks Paul!
Hello, do you recommend a ozone monitor?

I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Do you use a desiccant on the Poseidon or just draw room air?
Air is fed into the Poseidon using a small air pump. That's what the Avast Ozone Kit came with when I picked it up.
