Hello, somehow on some materials I don't have the "Inspection Lot Stock" tab... (20:14) I checked on other materials that have the tab, but I couldn't see any difference in the settings. Does anyone have an idea?
Hello Professor, and thank you for the course. I have a nice question for you and hopefully you are so kind to help me. Is it possible to set up the system (currently ECC 6.0) in a way that if an item produced (let's say semi finished) is produced for internal use, and therefore made to stock, does not go into quality inspection stock (Q) and if it is produced for a customer, and therefore made to order, it will go into quality inspection stock (Q)? It it is possible, would you be so kind to explain the steps?
Nice question. I don’t think it’s feasible in standard SAP, you need to go for custom movement types and activate inspection setup for the mvt type relevant for make to order and a different mvt type for make to stock. It would be complex though.
Sir, lot will be created when we do GR. But what if we do GR of partial quantity today which result in lot creation (result recording + UD also done) then next day we do GR of remaining quantity, so what will happen now; is new lot will be created or same lot with updated quantity will be there in system?
You can control this with the setup in inspection type in the material master. You can decide whether Insp lot should be created per material document (101 mvt type) or batch, material and s.loc.
Really useful video. Could you please advice, If I have 6 operations in my routing and I need to assign the quality check for the 3rd and 5th operation, how can I able to achieve it?? thanks in advance!!!
Thanks. This goes with 03 insp lot. You can assign control keys with QC checks to multiple operations with required characteristics. Once you release the production order only one 03 inspection lot will be created with multiple operations in it.
Thank You for your knowledge sharing sir. Great Job and keep going

How can I reverse the stock unrestricted use to again quality by 322 movement
If the QM Insp setup is active you cannot do manual postings. The stock should be reversed via reversal of UD.
Hi
Can you please post a complete series of videos on SAP PP end to end please

How to reverse the stock from inspection lot?
You need to implement a program for UD and Stock posting reversal from the inspection lot.
@@SAPwithIK can't we do it in migo by selecting movement type as 102
102 is for the reversal of GR document. It won’t work if the stock is posted via Insp lot.
@@SAPwithIK okay thank you sir
