1st, warn to disconnect battery or take key fob inside hse & dont open any doors. 2, clean rust off hub & smear THIN grease or anti seize so hub comes off easier. Put a lug nut on one stud so rotor is straight for caliper. 3, that clip on pad goes INSIDE, it's the scraper warning for low pads. Too much grease on back of pads, thin coat. I'm not a fan of holes in rotors. Slotted is okay, & u DID purchase quality rotors/pads. Sorry, I'm a meticulous senior who has done mt brakes for decades. Do jobs like its going to be YOU who does the next job, bc it porbably WILL be u. Invest in MM sockets & a torque (lbs) wrench. One step at a time. I TOO, own a gen 4 Prius (2019). Have low miles & have taken my brakes apart aftr 2yrs just to clean/lube (preventative maintenance). TAKE UR TIME. Take pics w/foned if it helps. Ur/our lives depend on it. 🇺🇸
Thanks for the clarification on some things and the advice! No need to apologize, I'm learning also and more than happy to learn where I can improve for next time. Thank you so much!!
If your rotor is stuck and you don’t have buckets of different screw sizes to guess and check (or the time for that matter) just do a couple hits to the center area of the rotor with a heavy hammer and it should pop it off. If you are replacing the rotor anyway, go ahead and hit it on the sides of the rotor for the angle. Be smart though…don’t hit the tread where your lug nuts go.
There's tons of good videos on it, but I'd start with making sure there's no leaks and that the fluid is filled up. Want to make sure everything looks seated properly.

Very good idea, Thank you!!
how to fix low power brake after changing front brakes and pushing cylynders

Not for nothing, but but pretty sure those booths are metric. Like 14mm and 17 or 18mm…
That is quite possible. I appreciate it!
Holy S@!t that’s a lot of grease!!!!! Just do a light brushing of brake grease!
Yeaaa definitely went a little over on it. Lesson learned and greatly improved on future jobs haha
Ok, as I’m watching, I’ve got comments. But some penetrating spray, Aerokroil.
Agreed, that could help a lot!
Man so much grease
Yeaaaaaaa let's chalk that up to a learning experience 😂 🤣😭
Not professional at all
Just learning as I go 😂
great veido thank you
Glad you liked it!
