I started watching this video and the first thing I said to myself, If this fishing hole was near me I would spend a day picking up the trash, Great to see you guys did. You guys are lucky to have such a great fishing hole. Way to keep it clean

I just ran across this video & since I'm just up river...It just totally reminded me of fishing the Dardanelle Dam when I fought a big boy from a boat & had no chance. It completely destroyed my pole. I learned a lesson that day...Never buy a rod that breaks into 2 pieces

You must have been snagging. That's the only way to catch them. I have seen them over 80lbs, and heard one guy tell me he caught one that was 98lbs. They are fun to snag into.
I have caught big flathead like that tight lining w shad or small bream
@@1.crazy.redhead Those are Asian carp, not flatheads or catfish. They don't bite on bait or hooks. They are gill feeders and eat by straining the water in their gills. Snagging is how they are caught.
