great vid reed,im useing the whites quantum 2 with great success up here in calgary alberta.i hunt mostly old house sites before they split the lots and put two infills on them.tons of that going on up here,great for us.thanks for the vid and good luck.

I realise it's your life to live the way you want to but when you walked towards the camera you were puffing and out of breath. I want to see you around more than the next ten years man. Really sorry if I've overstepped the Mark but I'm talking as one the was in the same boat till someone pointed out that I was killing myself. It was hard but I dropped 40 kg in 12 months. Yep, a few nuggets in one spot but mostly I use it for relics. I really enjoy finding relics from the gold fields here and a nugget pops up here and there.

These are the two I might be interested in. I need one that can go in salt water at the beach and also has good penetration in sand or on land. I will mostly do land/woods but need beach ability. Did you get them, and which of these two is a better overall metal detector? Thanks!!
Every time I read this I crack up cause I actually started cutting my hair with my Bowie knife... lol. Been in the woods way to long here. But everyone says it looks great longer now compared to when I used the electric trimmer. The things you do with cabin fever deep in the forest... haha
It will find larger nuggets but it's not a true gold hunting machine. Your best bet for a gold machine is the Minelab GPX5000 and then a Whites GMT or a Gold Bug Pro. To find gold you need a machine that is made for it. Any detector will find large nuggets but finding small gold is where a true gold machine makes its mark.
yea coz most gold nuggets are small and there missed with cheaper detectors i got that much .. thanks man and thank you for replying fast ...im from aus in the gold state of victoria and u can find gold without a detector sometimes on the top of the dirt .. found a 3 1/2 ounce nugget and sold it on ebay :)
RUclips changed the ratios on .wmv's earlier this year and changed them all into wide screen for everyone. I've thought about reloading everything that is now bad into mpg format but it still works so... Though I have been shaking my head at how many movies that were loaded in perfect HD are now messed up wide screen BS... :)

i also own a MXT and love it.to many finds to count. hey reed have you found any gold with your MXT? i have not,i do have a dd coil for prospecting..

Dude, what happened to your aspect ratio? BTW, clad and zinc have nothing to do with one another.
