Ilyas Tokgöz It depends on the source for mountain gold, if the source is up-hill & up stream historically then there's a good chance the downstream areas will contain gold. The key is understanding where gold will concetrate. It can be found most anywhere, but it will only concentrate in certain places. See hunting4gold.com/get/20-20/ for more training on this.
I haven't even started prospecting (looking for a new hobby), and I like the way you presented such useful information in such a short period of time. Thank you for posting.
Your videos are very informative and provide great instruction for the less experienced prospector like me. I watch certain ones over again as a refresher before I go out prospecting. This weekend plan to go to GPAA site Nancy's Gold and that portion of the American River has some bends and curves so this video is perfect for me. Thanks for your continued efforts.
Hi Jess! After watching your video and pondering on your opinions on where the gold is while out shopping on city streets. Noticing that the leaves on the ground were doing the exact thing by gathering in the curves and also along the sides of the road and nothing seen on the outside of the bends. Seems like nature enjoys keeping things simple in the flow if only we care to open our eyes to see them. Thanks for sharing 🙏
I'm just starting to go out there and experiment with the stuff i've been studying. I was on this river with cobbles going about 14 foot up both sides of the banks but the inside bends were all sandbars and the outside bends were all the gravels and heavy rocks but no gold or black sands. I really couldn't figure out what was going on why other than maybe the river was artificially widened
I found small flecks of gold in a river on a mountian that had a huge gold rush there were mines and good gold panning areas (nuggets were found that were over 50 ounces) 100 years ago it was and it was way above the waterline by about 20 feet could this gold have been deposited here because over 100 years the river used to be that high? It's right we're the tree line is and its a really mossy area?
I have a question Jess? What if it's a horse shoe curve in a Creek? And this is the only place on the whole stream that it horse shoe's! It's in gold country.
I know this is an old video now, but hoped you could help out a newbie prospector like me. My question is, Is the gold better if the bend in the river is (bigger/sharper bend)..many thanx bex
Hey Jess, I was wondering what areas you would consider to contain most gold Along for example the Indus River, in Pakistan? Also what amounts of naturally occuring Gold can a good or Best metal detector detect? Thanks in advance, Mikki
David mHi looking for tips for panning wheres the best place to look is it on the inside bend 3 to 4 ft deep? Found some in ochills scotland last trip found nothing thanksDavid
Great video!! I highly doubt that you will respond it's been 11 years since you posted this! Anyway I will give it a shot anyway. What if it's in a creek that it has one spot on the whole creek that horse shoes in one spot.
Hi Master, your videos are very instructive. Master, is it possible for me to translate or dub your clips into Persian and post them on my RUclips channel? Do you allow me ??
Seems like you'd be thinking about the incline in a really steep flow looks like would drop less Gold.. in comparison to a flow over not so steep an incline
How to read a profile of a glory hole, the material placed by an ancient creek: where to extract material for processing? What are the indicators, the evidence that would show the direction of flow? In this particular area the creek meandered and changed direction over the many mileniums. You constantly talk of live streams but fail to talk about ancient water flow, how to read old, dry land placer.
This video is very misleading for most that watches because Gold will only be found in certain areas of the country. Red dirt streams will have you wasting your time.
Red dirt clays are great gold traps. They are not the only indicator but they do indicate old basalt lava flows which can go with intrusive secondary quartz gold seams.
Along time ago my granpappy said the best place to find gold was....I'm not feeling very well....anyway...*cough ....he said the best place to find gold was along....actually I could give you the Google map co-ordinates....*cough...he said the co-ordinates were.....ugh, really don't fell well.....he said the co-ordinates were..............ugh.....
Is there a gold in every stream or rock formed in a grain of sand in the canyon between two mountains of gold has

When sampling for gold in the river/stream (inside bends) how deep do you sample? 1-2 feet?
T. Hutchins I try to go to bedrock or at least a clay layer of false bedrock. Gold will go under all that overburden in floods.
Hunting for gold thanks
Can u tell me how much deep we have to dig sir
nice. i like your shirt.
whats some good places to prospect in South Carolina?
You can watch this Gold in SC and NC presentation on FB facebook.com/131759193542536/videos/383264848923749/
I found my best gold on the outside bend, so be sure and check both sides
Congratulations Brazil 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice😁👍 can't understand the 25 dislikes? ...🤨
Put anything in front of 200,000 people and there is a strong chance someone will be offended ;-) 25 out of the 1000 responders is just fine..
I can promote your videos on my rockhound group if you would like (over 600 active members). I really love your stuff.
Sir can u reoly to me. Im from the land of gold ophir i want to ask u something about on hunting gold.
Seems like you'd be thinking about the incline in a really steep flow looks like would drop less Gold.. in comparison to a flow over not so steep an incline
Each will impact different sized gold differently steep will only have large gold under large boulders, etc.
Im from indonesia...gold falace in the world..

Thanks for the request. I do mention them in several videos, but I need a few more dedicated to the intricacies of reading ancient deposits.
