Yeap . They are reliable and very convenient to carry and shoot . I'm about to get one real soon myself . Because the Glock 26 gen 5 is my favorite gun . But I'm only going to use one 10 round magazine because I don't need the other 2 . I'm buy the 15 and 24 round magazines to go with it .
I tried to like the 43x but for me it printed with the longer grip and I decided to buy a gen 5 26 and I wish I would’ve gotten this to begin with. It certainly shoots better than any of the micro 9s that I’ve tried.
I have a 26 and 19 mos both gen 5. Never really cared for the fingers grooves so I’m glad they did away with that. Might pick up the 23 at some point to since I have other .40s.
@@GunBoxTherapy I have seen a lot of people using that dremel tool to do the pregame of stippling but I was thinking about making the grooves larger and deeper and then stippling the gun 😳 We will see what happens!
I have owned a few Glocks in my time and have always wanted the G26 . My current EDC is the Glock G43x Mos NO Red-Dot I didn't like the Dot because I'm old School. I've gifted my G48 to my Son for his first ever hand gun. The thought of using the G26 for an EDC summer gun is interesting to me. It's getting close to Christmas and who knows what Santa might put under my tree
I got a new Glock Blue Label 🚑🚒🚓 9mm 26 gen 5 in 2020. My 9mm works ✔️. I have 2 spare 17rd Glock gen 5 9mm magazines. I added a few changes. True Precision PVD/TiN barrel, LWA extractor, Glock Store slide lock, Mil Spin 🇺🇸 backplate, Tango Down brand magazine release, slide stop(Vickers). I got a few Magpul 9mm mags too, 1 is a 12rd extended for 26s. The 26 came with night sights. 3 dot.
I don’t believe there are any Austrian made Gen 5 26s. I believe the bulk of production (if not all of production) for the 26 Gen 5 was moved to the US.
I agree with you on that except for one feature on the Gen 4. I felt as though the finger grooves on the Gen 4 aren’t really needed nor are they comfortable. I do however like the finish of the 26 Gen 4 slide over this one. The new Gen 5 finish is very slippery. Which makes it easy to clean but manipulation of a slippery surface like this, wet or dry, is somewhat annoying.
I like the glock platform best for simplicity and proven reliability. Not a fan boy as I own or have owned most of the popular guns on market. It feels great in the hand and trigger is awesome for what it is
The minor(small) change might be the DLC or "surface" coating on some USA/GA made guns 🏭. OSHA & Georgia's labor safety, environmental board got on Glock USA about chemicals, production. I own a 2020 gen 5 model 26. The OEM barrel can get small scuffs, marks. No big hassle. There are tons of custom or PVD Glock barrels gen 1-5 or threaded. 2024.
It technically does have a 3 part safety but yeah, that’s pretty typical of most striker fired semi-automatic handguns. Glocks have what they call the “Safe Action System” it consists of: Drop safety. Trigger safety. Firing pin safety. Believe it or not they all work together to create a very reliable safety net that require a deliberate trigger pull.
Because they are a better gun! small guns are harder to control, for me the 26 is perfect size weight balance. And it has decades of proven reliability and has been the leading CCW up until recently. Just like the 1911 there will always be a market for them just because modern douche bags think the micro compact will turn them into fossils just reveals ignorance.
Glock 26s rock! 🇦🇹 RIP Gaston Glock! 🫗 With 9mm Glocks you can slap in a 15rd 21rd 17rd mag. I'd add the OEM DLC gen 5 barrel can scuff, mar with use-ccw. I added a new True Precision PVD gold barrel-2022. Slick!
I would love to have that glock 26 . I love how compact they are and they the best 9mm pistols out there

Think this will be my first fire arm, the versatility seems unmatched
Use G19 Mag's & XGRIP'S (26x)
For More Ammo & A Better Grip...
I Love My G26 Gen 5... Great Video...
Hey I just received my gen 5 glock 26!such a good and versatile pistol.i also managed to find some factory glock 12 round mags for it to 🤠
It can fit the original glock 17 mag too it holds 17 and you can buy a spacer for the mag so it fits good in the hand no homo
Just got my 26 gen 5 love it
Just ordered my G26g5 after shooting with all the micro 9s. It is the best one. I actually hated the Shield Plus but it had a really nice trigger.
I like micro 9s but I think it's just a fad. I like my 26s
Thank you for the video. Glock 42 is baby glock 👍
I have a 26 and 19 mos both gen 5. Never really cared for the fingers grooves so I’m glad they did away with that. Might pick up the 23 at some point to since I have other .40s.
Nice looking pistol. Good review.
Great unboxing, I can’t wait to get back the states to buy the Glock 26 gen5
Last March I bought the M&P 9 shield plus, but I really want the Glock
Clean! I have the Gen 4, PERSONALLY for the finger grooves 🙏
The finger grooves are nice but personally they don’t fit my hands. I always end up with an awkward and uncomfortable grip with them.

I wonder if the grip(without backstrap) feels identical to g19. I really like the feel of that Gen 5 grip. Got rid of my 26.3 because of that.
Love your videos man.
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
A blue label glock nice
I want the MOS(future-proofing) but the blue label non-MOS G26 is only $475 with Ameriglo Bold night sights. Can’t beat that
Getting one of these soon.. all the shops I went to I've only seen USA Glock 26 gen 5's and the other gen 5's were all Austria
I don’t believe there are any Austrian made Gen 5 26s. I believe the bulk of production (if not all of production) for the 26 Gen 5 was moved to the US.
@@GunBoxTherapy ooooo that makes sense now
I'd wait- 2024 & buy a NIB Glock 26 MOS or "X" version as some say. Glock sold them to 🚓 & govt agencies but withheld a US release.
I don't own one of these bust I love this gun
This is so cool 😁
I don't know why but I prefer the gen 4 a lot more.

Very nice analysis; couldn't agree more. Gock should also start to undercut the trigger guard as well.
@@GunBoxTherapy You could always put grip tape on the slide and that would make it better
I like my gen3. I wouldn't mind gen5 though 😅
Love glock great guns
I love mine. It’s my favorite of everything I own.
i just ordered mine about a hour ago i can’t wait to pick up from the gun store 😩
can you add a laser /light?
You have gen 3 also so can you make video gen5 vs gen3

Mine only came with beaver tails do they normally have both?
The newer gen 5s just ship with the beaver tails now
I know it’s cosmetic, but I want my glocks stamped with Austria, not USA.
Great. Do you see or is there any diff. in this U.S made and Austrian made g26?
There is no difference.

I can't decide either Glock 26 or Ruger LCP max. Please help me decide...
LCP MAX if you want a true pocket pistol, G26 too big for a pocket
26 needs to have e a rail on front
Harganya berapa Bos..?
Gen 3 the best IMO
Best quality forsure gen 3
Had a G27 gen 3. Such an awesome pistol
Here in rhe phils.if you buy glock only 2 magazines
easy to buy spare right?
Got one as well thank god I had a 17 also .so I could use the 17 round mags as well in the 26
Dang hold it still for a lil bit,
Pocket rocket

No safety??

How are Glock 26 still relevant with guns like SIG p365 and hellcat now?

Too small
Only Glock to accept every capacity 9mm Glock mag.
