This happened to a place I worked at. We also had surveillance video of a guy breaking in. We called the police and were given a case #. We were told that the investigator would call make two call attempts within 2 weeks, and that no voicemail message would be left. If we missed the calls, we would have to start over with asking apfor a new case #. Guess what? The investigator called days later. Two calls made within one minute of each other. Unfortunately, we kissed the call. Guess what now… When we called back, APD said the case # we had was closed out due to no response (i.e., we didn’t pick up phone). Consequently, they made us start all over with a new case # and get back in the two week line to wait to hear from an investigator. Eventually, when we did get a call back from an investigator, he wasn’t interested in looking at the video surveillance we had even though the perpetrator in our crime was a homeless man in the area which we could easily take the police to and get an arrest. Nope. APD investigator didn’t care.
Help is not coming. This is Texas. Figure it out.
They need to expand private security contracts. Next Level Security is doing a great job in other parts of downtown.
The attending officer when we were robbed never even got out of the police cruiser
"Reinforcing Doors"? How does that stop a rock going thru a window?? Bullet proof glass? 🤔
How can anyone miss Van Helsing walking around downtown
What part of town did this happen at? I've seen this guy on West Gate by Pack Saddle, near the Central Market area.
