The ‘80s were a fantastic time to be a teenager. I feel honored to have had the privilege to have experienced it in all its glory! I miss those days…..❤

Agreed. Winger took the "brunt" of the mockery of Hair Metal. And sure, they were marketed towards women because of Kip Winger's looks. But these guys could fucking PLAY. That's what people who defend how much "better" Grunge was (ha, yeah right) can't deconstruct: Hair Metal may have gotten corporate and formulaic (nobody denies that) but the musicianship and production was top notch and superior in every single way.
+Michele Lee No doubt! This was a perfect musical moment in time. For those of us who were teens in the 80's, by the time the 90's hit.... it all changed. Love Winger! Always have. Wish I still looked like Kip. Lol! I had great hair back then. Now at 43, uh, short hair. But I still look good in my leather pants!
+Steve Sullivan You're doing fine!. Keep it up. Praise be to all the people who lived with the music of the 80s !. Such music is no more. And it will never forget us !.

Saw him in a little bar here in Columbus Ohio in July 2016. After the Rock on the Range got cancelled I believe, he still wanted to give a show. The bar was the Red Rock, and my oldest kid and I were there. Met him, he came in and I freaked out as he was like right there, asked for a slice of the pizza we had and I so fan girled out, my kid was like whoa mom you good?! He talked to us both, like he was genuine and kind. He couldn't believe my kid and I were mother and child. He did a stellar job and he was so awesome. Got our picture with him, he was so cool man. Kid was impressed too. And said, I get it Mom. No wonder you screamed like a teenage girl when you found out he was gonna be here. Great guy, made a terrific memory with me and my kid. He is so underrated it's criminal. Thanks Kip! You're a gem.

Hate it when people make fun of Winger. They were nothing like the other talentless bands of the era like Motley Crue or Poison who were writing 3 chord party music nonsense that a child could play on guitar. Winger and Harem Scarem for me were the most talented at that time. Yes of course Reb Beach is an amazing soloist, but it's his riffs which are the most overlooked. Winger - Hungry
I hear the ticking on the clock
Counting everyday I've been alone
How long before you're coming back?
If I don't see your face, I'll turn to stone
Can't keep holding on this way
Can't go on another day
Can't you hear me when I say...
Girl, I'm hungry, for your love
Girl, I'm hungry, baby, let me in
Hungry, for your love
Hungry, I can't get enough
Your love's the color of my heart
When I look in your eyes, everything's so clear
So still together when we're apart
I begin to die unless you're here
Can't keep holding on this way
Can't go on another day
Can't you hear me when I say...
Girl, I'm hungry, for your love
Girl, I'm hungry, baby let me in
Hungry, for your love
Hungry, I can't get enough
I lie awake all night
Can't stop remembering
You've got to make it right
I can't hold it in
Hungry!
I hear the ticking on the clock
Counting everyday I've been alone...
Hungry
I'm hungry, for your love
Girl, I'm hungry, I can't get enough
Hungry, for your skin
Hungry, baby, let me in
Hungry, for your love
Hungry!
I'm hungry, for your love
Hungry... Oh, no!
