As usual totally unscientific...
The cyclones on Dyson beat any vacuum for a bagless that's why Dyson is so great after all that's what they pioneered and still do to this day. Yes, they do need a bigger inlet for big debris but Dyson will always win. I would love to even see the filter on the Hoover and see how much dirt was on it compared to nothing for the Dyson
Dysons don’t last long, Dyson refused to replace a cordlesses I owned battery and floor head even though it was in warranty

@@uhno123no9My dyson has lasted for 15 years, got it in 2009. The only thing wrong with it is that the hose needed to be replaced but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock 'cause of how old the dyson is. Even if the two vacuums operate similarly, Dyson will take it in the end with longevity whereas you'll have to replace the hoover in about 3 years. The dyson is heavier though and I don't like that as i have carpal tunnel in my arms.
The Dyson gen5 blows the hover away by a lot in performance and light weight
Nope Dyson gen5 sticks to carpet too much on thick carpet or medium pile meaning it’s not moveable
Never buy Dyson.
