  • If you don't want to spend a small fortune on a Hoover, I highly recommend the "Hoover" brand. They do the job well - and at a fraction of the cost of Shark & Dyson.
    This is not a paid promotion. I bought the hoover myself and the opinions on the product are my own.

    My Dyson just gave up on me so I’ve just bought this one. I too was struggling with the hose configuration. Thanks so much for sharing this!

    The short hose clips between the dirt collector and the hose connection on the cleaner main head. In the video you put the long hose in that position which will reduce the vacuum power.

    If you use the short hose in the two connection ports, it increases suction on the floor plate if you are not using the tools. Saw this on another site.

    Hi Chris, thanks for this video I just bought this Hoover and I’m excited to try it out and glad to see it’s actually actually good!!
    In an unboxing video I saw someone say that the short tube is just another option instead of the long one if you don’t want to trail it around when you aren’t using the tools, and apparently the suction is better using the short tube! 🤩

    I found your video very entertaining, unlike you I try to read the instructions first before attempting anything. Just like you and many others, I found the instructions very vague, but logic about the short tube made me think the short tube connects to the bottom housing of the Hoover to make the connection for the Hoover to work efficiently.
    From what I've worked out the long flexible hose for the tool brushes, wraps around dormant on the hose holder clips that are top & bottom of the Hoover in storage, at the back of the Hoover, both ends of the hose clipped on to the hose end connection holder on the left hand side, as your looking at the Hoover from behind.
    When you want to use the flexible hose, you need to Unclip the short hose from the top part of the Hoover unit that feeds in to the filter unit that collects the dirt, take the flexible hose of the Hoover and connect it to where you've unclipped the short hose, as the winged fitting clips are exactly the same.
    That top hose connection that feeds into the filter dirt collection unit, is reverse to a lot of other vacuum cleaners, the top part of this vacuum cleaner is where the suction is & not the bottom of the vacuum housing

    the little hose joins from the machine to the hose port below because these machines don't have great suction as is, so adding a big long hose will decrease the pick up a lot. the long hose is purely for. tool use. nothing else.

    The short pipe is to concentrate suction when the hose is not in use, it was for the 300watt eco series and you connect the full hose when using and then disconnect and put little pipe back on for upright mode to increase suction again.

    I attached the short flexible connection that was a mystery across the input to the top part and the one to the bottom part .So it can be used without using attachments.

    Hello all, There are two tubes in the box, one is about 6 inches and the other tube is about 38 inches. The longer one is used as an extension when you are doing the stairs. The smaller one is for used when you are not using the extension connected to the Hoover. Meaning one of the blue tubes Must be connected to the hover. My hover was missing Pet Hair Remover & Parquet Nozzle. Purchased 29th Nov 2022. This one came from Argos click and collect, the box was sealed so it's not their fault. Currys UK was £10.00 cheaper than Argos.

    I'm glad you don't know what that extra part is for either! I'm a bit disappointed that my hoover didn't come with that stair tool even though it's the exact same as yours other than that!

    • @allinsiteUK
      @allinsiteUK 2 года назад +1

      I have a feeling that rather than being a specific stair tool it is actually for removing pet hair from furniture or anywhere where it is difficult to remove. Some of this model have a Pet paw logo on the dust chamber and some do not. I guess those that do not do not come with the pet head attachment.

    • @catherinesmalley8587
      @catherinesmalley8587 Год назад

      It's not a stair tool - that's the extra tool you get for removing pet hair from furniture etc. It only comes in the Breeze Evo Pet Hoover which is the one being demonstrated, the basic Breeze Evo Hoover which is slightly different in colour design, doesn't have this tool.

    Oh man it definitely looks confusing... I guess you dont need the extension hose assembled on to the machine all the time having a bent hose there reduces performance. Just use the small hose as assembled when you received the machine and assemble the other end of the hose to the input right below. The machine looks like the machines used in the movie "ghostbusters".

    If that old Hoover is 2000W it lasted more than 5 years more like 7 years as the EU Regulations came in 2014. We're planning on possibly buying this or a Vax Air Stretch Max

    Just bought one of these but found your video to see how the attachments fit as the instructions aren't clear and also, my Pet Hair Attachment Tool doesn't stay in it's holder on the handle - it just drops off! So I was wondering if I'd put it together properly or if I should have done something different. I was wondering too about the small hose...perhaps you get a better suction with that as it doesn't have to suck dirt all round the long pipe, it just goes through the short one and straight into the bin??? I also got a wiper blade with mine...not sure whether to fit that or not. I have mostly hard floors except for my bedrooms which are carpet.

    If the main long pipe breaks/splits you can insert the small one to bridge the suction gap so you can still use as upright?

The instructions are diabolical .

    *DON'T BUY!* Our Breeze Evo has given us nothing but trouble and it's a _nightmare to_ empty and don't even mention cleaning the filters! Our twenty year old Panasonic 1900w is much more reliable and replacing it's paper bags doesn't leave you covered in muck!
