Man… the injustices heaped upon women over the course of history by men… it’s simply mind boggling how unjustly her brothers and father treated her - ripping apart her happy life and destroying her marriage and the people she loved so many times just to serve their own interests… it’s crazy how women were treated like slaves for so much of history. We need a tv series focused solely on Lucrezia and not the Borgia family as a whole - I want to see her story, listen to her thoughts and feelings as she navigated the vipers that were her male relatives and lived through so much suffering and sorrow.
She was underappreciated for her diplomatic skills and I doubt she was a serial poisoner. I'm just glad I don't go through what she did to do her hair.
