👁 About this video : This is the 2021 Lexus UX 250 Hybrid crossover and it's a very small SUV from Lexus. Hybrid drivetrain means you can drive the UX250 in EV mode and under 25 miles per hour this can be driven like an electric vehicle. Very cool to drive around slow speeds like that. Out on the road the Lexus UX is very comfortable and has several luxury amenities and a ton of standard safety settings. It's pretty quite on the road too with a little bit of wind noise. So it's not quite a top level luxury car. This is similar to the Toyota C-HR and is a very small version of a crossover. Overall nice little hybrid with a good price.

Now I'm in an NX300 F Sport.
But with the way gas prices are headed, might have to look at a hybrid 😒

Thanks for this review. I'm looking at a used 2021 UX250h tonight after my hubby totaled my 2011 CT200h this week. Your review provides some good base knowledge before I do my own test drive tonight. I'm a Lexus lover after seeing the quality of my CT and how well it held up over 10 years!

This is a cute little Lexus but my kryptonite on hybrid crossovers is the CVTs but I hear they're trying to improve them so we'll see what happens. Don't know what your skills are but there was a clip when you hit a bump and it looked like you were busting a dance move, so funny!! 😁😁
I think the CVT transmissions are getting better, but I'm not a fan of them at all! It drives great for someone looking for this car though. And I didn't catch that lol! :)

I have the UX250h with premium pack and sat nav in white mica pearl.
Just got 61 MPG (UK) on a 40 mile trip local and motorway. Thats amazing!
Its not small being C class and quite quick thanks to 181 BHP.
Its quiet, smooth, rapid and comfy.

Yeah I could see that, hard to get a large window and a small design but not too bad! It's a nice Lexus for sure! Is there anything else you wish was different?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed i do wish i had more horsepower and torque and also compartments in the back not only just the cup holders on the arm rest and heated and ventilated seats hahah
I could see the need for horsepower and torque increase! You would think a luxury brand like Lexus would offer more models with heated/ventilated seats! It's rare to see in the back though.

I have to wait until September to collect it as its a factory build. I would be very interested if you could review one of the 23 variants with the much improved touchscreen interface. I have it in blue , love this car and might even keep it . Normally change my car every 3 years but after owning it for almost 2 years and only done a COVID inhibited 5k miles it’s not even run in yet . Only gripe is sat nav and control pad for infotainment system could have been better.
It's a very nice Lexus for sure! The control pad takes some getting used to for sure! Thanks for sharing your experience so far!

Sorry if this has been asked already. What exactly do I get with the F sport package? Worth the splurge in your opinion?
It's really just an appearance package. Nicer wheels more aggressive body parts. Most have blue stitching or some badges. So it's all looks
Do you think the new supra was good or bad for the channel? Lots of youtubers were basically early adopters so curious to see if it was a good or bad decision for them.
I can't really speak for their channels. But I know the big channels that did full body kits and turbo upgrades in the 1st month of ownership did well on those cars. Personally I wish I bought the car 1 year later. Because I would have saved about $5k on the MSRP and my videos started picking up on the Supra after a year. My videos appeal to people who actually own the car. So in the beginning not enough people owned one to care about the vids I made. Fun car overall but I wont have it forever
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks for the reply. Really interesting to read that. I have been looking at getting one but the lack of a manual and the fact they keep making changes is putting me off a bit. Thinking of an R8 or GTR then moving to it when it’s found it’s footing. Currently have a mkIV supra and it’s become an unreliable POS, hence wanting to change.
Hello i have the same car exactly but when i try to connect wifi it tells me to update but the update needs wifi so what do i do
The dealer could always do a software update for you! I've never owned a vehicle with wifi, so not sure the process to do that.

yep we have it but noone buys it :-) ....Lexus failed with fast charging and other things which are no on most new E-cars.

Most cars these days come with an inflator kit. To be honest tho. In my 11 years of driving I've never needed a spare. Neither has my brother or parents. So they are kinda a waste 99% of the time

The vehicle is a good size, but the powertrains are too hobbled. The FWD only from a Corolla 2.0NA does not fit the Lexus brand. The hybrid is also underpowered. For this kind of money, there are better choices.
It's ok powered. Didn't feel crazy slow. But it's defiantly a budget Lexus and really just a basic Toyota with some nicer parts

@@SSaugaCriss Get serious here. There are tons of better choices for this price. Start with a Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, BMW X1, or Audi Q3.

I would agree with that! The demographics for Lexus probably do though :). The older generation likes the Lexus models and would still have CD's!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed Bro I'm trying to help you to become a better reviewer. Look up other videos or ask your Lexus dealer. The back wheel has a 7hp motor on each wheel to help low speed slips. Nothing else! It's essentially a front wheel drive with engine sending powers to just the front. I have both the UX200 and this Hybrid lol

Please read. As a auto reviewer you should know the cars you’re reviewing. The manufacture wants the general public to believe this is an AWD meaning the motor drives all four wheels but as a car guy you should know better

I wish Lexus would make the systems touchscreen! They offer that in some models, but they need to do that across the line up!
Omg, the infotainment is so small that hurts my eyes.
I wish Lexus would update their screens for size and having the touchscreen ability, but it wasn't too hard to see in person.

Don't buy it . It has the same problem of all hybrid cars of lexus. They vibrate badly when speeding between 70km/h and 100km/h especially on a hill road. Nobody talks a this major issue in lexus hybrid cars and lexus refuses to provide any solution. IS models are suffering the most of this problem and all drivers of these cars are shutting up their voices. Probably they are so old to not notice the vibrations.
Honestly I did not notice that when driving. But if that is an issue hopefully they fix it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed then let the owners find it themselves. Have fun with lexus when you speed between 70 and 100 km/h. If you Google on the vibrations issue of lexus you will find owners complaining but lexus dumps the issue quickly but no solution yet.
@@shof7947 You do know I don't own this car right? I'm just filming it for a review video. Some of my Family members own Lexus vehicles and honestly they've never had issues. But if this particular car has issues I'm sure with enough complaints Lexus will figure it out
