Alaska | 4K Cinematic Drone Footage | DJI Mini 2

Drone footage from June 2022 trip to Alaska. Locations include, Palmer, Seward, the Matanuska Glacier, Hatcher Pass, Lowell Point, and a few random spots I saw along the road that looked interesting. See the rainbow.....now look to the left. There are actually 2. :)

The Mini 2 is insane. It's capable of so much for such an affordable drone. I plan on moving up to something with a 1" sensor but I'll probably always have a Mini.

I really wanted the air 2s but now that the mini 3 is out I may opt for that option

@@upinalaska49 I think at some point very soon I'm going to get the Mini 3 with the RC and an Air 2s. There are times where the Mini 2 really struggles with wind and it can make getting certain shots hard to get, which is why I want a 2s. The Mini 3 will be the drone I take when traveling outside of the U.S. You're right though. The Mini 3 is so close to the 2s in terms of performance. Outside of 10bit video and better wind performance is almost a toss up.

How did u achieved this kind of shots? Dji mini 2 doest have d-log M for color grading right? Are u using nd filters? I have a mini 2 and my videos are sucks😂

Sorry I just saw this reply. I always follow the 180 rule. I film at 30fps. I slightly underexpose. I then color grade the footage in Davinci Resolve. I use ND filters so I can follow the 180 rule. You are correct. The Mini 2 does not have d-log. It still still does ok as long as the video isn't overexposed.
