    When I was younger I use to watch these type of videos with my sister and we would be so amazed and just loved what the future of humanity held but today as an adult I’m afraid of the future for humanity. We hate each other and in order for the things in this great video to become reality it would require all of us to be on page and in todays time. I would love for humanity to make advancements like the ones in the video but it will never happen with how we treat one another. I wish I had that imagination and creativity as I once had…

      You do have it it’s just that you’ve become hardened to what you see.
      That happened to me once and I decided to suck my mind towards my idealistic goals and visions and to never allow my heart to harden again because that is truly what makes me human and fries long as I’m on the earth that is what I want to experience in 3D form!

    in the year 1023, the people of the world were fighting amongst each other in clans. People were in clans, wore weapons around, rode horses and had the finest armory/clothing. They were advanced for their time. Imagine if they thought what 1000 years before them? that would be 23 BC. Which was pretty much the same thing, killing. We only advanced during the 1800's, now 2000's is beginning to look futuristic. But we haven't even started. Imagine 1000 years after us? That is incomprehensible. Do we have FTL in year 3000? if yes, then there's no need to go through the hassle of terraforming Mars and Venus. There are plenty of planets out there in the galaxy that are habitable as is; without further terraforming action.

    • @Glathgrundel
      @Glathgrundel 2 года назад +2

      We may NEVER have FTL … it is still highly probable that it is simple not possible.
      … but if humans can overcome aging, essentially living as eternally youthful superhumans, and long term hibernation also becomes possible, then we may find that we can crawlonise the universe, and the thousands of years that interstellar travel would take might be irrelevant to a race of immortals.
      Once we become ageless, our perspectives on time will change so much that we could travel to Centauri and back, knowing that our families and friends will still be around.

    The main reason Venus is so hot is because of a runaway greenhouse effect not its closer proximity to the sun alone. Earth might also have temperatures hot enough to melt lead if it had a runaway greenhouse effect. Therefore I don't know if it would be necessary to move Venus. _Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future._ -Niels Bohr
    *_1_* Nobody can predict what’s gonna happen in 1K, 10K, 100K, or 1M years.
    *_2_* Science goes by logic, facts, and evidence. There’s hardly any evidence for Kardashev scale civilizations or alternatives like planet mastery, information mastery, microdimensional mastery, and civilizational range.
    *_3_* Therefore it looks like we’re alone in this universe. The multiverse is something else.

    It's something to see at the end of the current millennium. I imagine many people will celebrate the arrival of the year 3000 like how it was for 2000. And there may not be many languages left, with more globalization and technology enabling us to be in speaking less languages. I sure can see the oldest people then being centuries old. So then we can say from where in the universe we're from, as in the planet, satellite or asteroid, not a country. I can imagine travel being so fast. We may use different calendars too, not just the Gregorian calendar, depending where we live in. Just like how I have seen on the thoughts of the top 100 influential people of the second millennium, in 3000 we can get to know about the top 100 influential people of the third millennium. I can see long lives in humans in the year 3000. We should know, however, that carbon dioxide is what is needed for life. May my descendants who are to be alive by then get to see these advances.
