I understand the fear of fixing a dog. My poor girl got spayed and the surgery was botched. She lost control of her bladder. She was so young. Ever since then she's had to take a pill to keep her from having accidents all the time. Not to mention she lost a lot of her zest for life and gained weight in her later years. She's old now, and very very sweet. But she has so many health issues these days, and I can't help but wonder how much healthier she'd be if we never "fixed" her.
