Most studies show that it takes 50ms for visual stimulus to be received and sent forward for “processing”. Some new studies show though that images shown for 14ms were recognized. So 1-10ms delay will absolutely not be perceived.

It depends on the game, in COD BO Cold War BT is faster on Dualsense, but in 99% of the situations Cable is Faster. I cover this info in every game test I make.

Hi, it depends on the game, on Black Ops cold war on 60Hz mode the cable was still faster,; if the game is under 4ms delay BT might be faster (normal dual sense) and if it is above 4ms cable might be faster (not edge)
So the precise at -2 is combined with the aim response curve slope scale at 0.85 as mentioned in previous video? Or was the slope scale only for default ?
Hi, I'm using it on 0.85 and it works well for me for now, if you feel aim assist is not sticky enough, try lowering it, I'm also using Precise on -4 right now.

My dse controller is about 4 mo old and I don't know if it's the controller or mw3 but periodically the rt stick goes straight up but it didn't seem like stick drift because it's dead center and doesn't move when I check it and most of the time in game, for no reason it just goes straight up and I pull it down again. Hi, does it happen when playing on Cable too? (ensure Use USB Cable is checked in settings>General) if not, it might be due to some delay caused by other devices around you (which happened to me in the past too)

I appreciate all of your testing. I use dualsense edge on PC so Im unsure about how this information would transfer over. There is very little information about the best practices for PC out there for this controller. I wish you would get a gaming pc and do all of these tests lol
Hi, there are two ways: Using the DS4 Windows app, however, you can't access PS5 features settings, the second way that gives you access to extra buttons is using the DSX app on steam and it also has an extension which will cost about $12 overall I guess and it gives you all options.
So much to learn.. I still dont understand the options to be honest. I have my sticks set to 1 setting, and I just copy the profile then edit my buttons... Danial, I am wondering though, do you play with your controller plugged in at all? I ask as I'm just curious if the cord where it meets the controller is giving others issues where it gets completely kinked and bent.. I usually play plugged in all the time! sometimes (once per week or 2 weeks) I play on BT to keep the Battery on cycle and safe, Regarding the stick settings for Left Thumb, I've recently discovered some strange behavior for Aim Assist, especially in Call of Duty where slower speeds can help you with aim assist and I'll cover it in a new MWIII Video. it can help to Outperform M&K Players on PC haha.
@@GODAIM-ANDYIm unsure about Daniel, but I can tell you that my Edge will charge when I'm playing with it. But at the same time, maybe theres been a change somewhere in the settings, because admittedly, I rrslly only ever use my controller olugged in with bluetooth off. Tbh, if you just got it today and are already noticing that its not chsrging, Id be brining it back for an exchange tbh.. The edge is an amazing piece of hardware, but super pricey, so no sense in taking the chance that it fails later down the line.
@ryan9020 I appreciate your comment . I plugged it into the ps5 instead of the docking station. I factory reset it, and then plugged it in before turning it on . The first time I turned it on it wasn't plugged in. It's working fine now . Thanks very much.

Hi, for which game? Recently I noticed left stick on a slower pace = more Aim Assist in COD and on a higher pace = less accuracy in MWIII, I'm about to make an in-depth video about it and why it happens.
The reason why it's different from. Normal joistick is the running level, the elevation. If the controller starts moving 1 millimeter to the right of the pro edge it takes 5 millimeters to start moving
Danial, in your other video you said that usb had 1ms avg delay but bluetooth had 0.7ms average, so in that case, wouldn’t the bt be the optimal setting? @Danial ZH
Hi, USB test on my hardware can be measured down to 1ms, and from there, it's not reliable, that's why we say under 1ms, it's usually around 0.55ms on USB and is more stable, but can't prove it on PS5 due to method I test, but for a normal dual sense, BT might be faster in some games, it has some spikes and cable is more stable overall.

So i am a sniper in mw3 i baught dualsense edge 9 months ago and i also feel that this is different but i will try this settings and i have a question So i have been playing on ps5 since it came My main problem with dualsense edge is it did not last long like only 8 9 months and normal ps5 controller i played mw 2019 also mw 2 i played like 3 years on normal controller i had stick drift but it would go away if i set deadzone to 8 or 9 in mw2 it still works butt now about the duelsence edge i played mw2 and on mw3 day 8 or 9 i felt other type of stick drift its not normal its like go little to left then slowly starts to full 360 i cleaned did reset nothing worked then i switched both sticks and guess what other stick also started drifting like this and i had to buy new one like what how come the normal ps5 controller has stick drift what slowly moves can be fixed my puting deadzone to 5 or 10 but the ew dualsense edge stick drift cant be fixed even if i put dead zone to 70 it will still go full 360 like glitching
Hi, as far as I tested the quality is similar and the stick drift I've got was going similar to the dual sense, but there are chances that what you said happens, I would suggest you try testing with USB instead of Bluetooth and see how it goes?
The input delay measurements are based on the delay between button presses until changes in frames, so it's not the RAW delay and that might be higher.
I agree. I bought a Dualsense Edge for PC Helldivers. I also got a DualShock 4, and a Dualsense just to try them out and to get a different troller color. The DSE IS DEFINITELY GIRTHIER. Also, I don’t like shortening the triggers, because I like the triggers response and haptic feedback.

Thanks! yes the Type-C port is USB 3.1 GEN 2, however the USB 2 port is also fine, most people won't notice 1-3ms delay, but some want the best!

Hi, default is alright, because the speed of movement affects the Aim Assist which I'll show in the next video, it's good overall.

Hi, yes those Cables are fine, and Type C port is just the same as back ports in terms of speed and response

Hi! for the fastest response using a range of 0-1 is best for L2/R2 with trigger effects off in the game you play.

Theoretically sure the input voltage should be 5v but the controller has a voltage regulator in it that protects it and limits voltage to 5v

Hi, that's what most people feel at first, try using precise curve with adjustment on -5 or lower and it should help

For edge, USB, for Dualsense, Bluetooth is a little faster (3ms)
How can ur battery have 1500mha? My Edge has 1050
That's the input rating. 5V 1.5A = 5V 1500mA = the charger that you plug in. not the battery power.

This test is done on a ps5 because I don't think dualsense edge have 0,5ms input delay on console

in 60FPS and 30FPS games I tend to see Edge being more delayed than DualSense, I'm not sure why that happens but yes, the same goes on FC24.
