Summer Splice: 1960 Chevy "Biscala": Let's See if They Fit?

  • Опубликовано: 5 июл 2024
  • Hi guys! Thanks for tuning in! This week we're going to keep going on the 1960 Chevy Impala I bought from Tom a couple of years ago... I have a Chevy Biscayne sedan for a donor, and it is time to see if we can save the Impala by grafting it to the bottom of the solid Biscayne! I did a 1960 Plymouth Fury a few years ago, so it'll be a similar job, overall... This week we'll finish prepping the 2 big pieces and try landing the top of the Impala on the bottom of the Biscayne...
Thanks everyone who ordered a 1937 Chevy T-shirt; they're being printed now and I'll let everyone know when they are on the way!
Hope you enjoyed the 8mm clips! I am filming more on the 8mm camera and I'll include the footage as soon as I get it developed... Special thanks to Steve Dean and Niagara Film Labs in Toronto.
Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments!

1972 I had a wife and 2 kids so needed something. found a 60 chevy station wagon for 20 bucks. fixed it up and used it for 4 years. sold it for 200 bucks when it got to rusty. great car to drive in traffic. NO one tried to bully me for a lane. I am enjoying this restoration very much.

You guys are some of the most knowledgeable and talented fabrication, mechanical geniuses I've ever seen. Definitely a dying breed. I wish more younger generations would have the drive to learn these traits and keep passing it on. It's art form no matter how you look at it. Keep up the great work. Btw, it's good to see Al out there. I was wondering where he had been hiding. Lol

@26:20 he says (seeing that the gauge shows the alignment is perfect) "That looks pretty good,...any more effort is a waste"/...Then he proceeds to hammer away and waste more time (he is the perfectionist we love) HA! gawd I love this stuff!

CWM, you have THE best helpers any motorhead could ask for. The dedication amazes me who's showing up for the days project. This gives the phrase "the Cavalry has arrived" a true meaning. You're blessed!

Shout out to Tom and his Beaver Drilling Ltd. hat! Haha, horizontal drilling at it's finest. Boy that takes me back. This episode is already so intriguing and only 12 minutes in. I love all the similarities and differences at the same time. So neat!
