Hey, I am the #4 Xeno and I wrote the guide in Otz's guide suggestion page. I'm a little confused because there's quite a bit of misinformation in this video, ranging from wrong numbers to overexaggerating or undervaluing addons. The range of the Flame Turrets is 10m, not 12m as you state. The 41m built in motion sensors in the Flame Turrets also counter the "continue chase tunnels" strat you highlight at the beginning and I was really hoping you'd highlight that when covering that strat like a "hey, but be careful about this!", but you do not. I'm interested how you came to these conclusions and wrong numbers?
The 12m radius I just got wrong. But the 41m radius detection on the turret I dont think matters much since a survivor would have to be holding a turret in order to know where you are at all times. But I wouldn't see that happening for obvious reasons. And by the time they get to the next I would usually have cut them off already. For the addons, I've just gone off the value or data I collected in games as xenomorph. I will say that my ranking for Acidic blood could be wrong since it's bugged. But I had used it alot before then.

As a xeno enjoyer i have a build that i feel is silly and works well, superior anatomy, bamboozle, nowhere to hide, and trail of torment. I also use self destruct bolt and emergency helment. It's worked pretty well anf has made some fun scares. Another perk i think is unferrated is dtagons grip because you can kick the gen and crawl back into a tunnel and just wait for the survivors to come to you
Wouldn’t recommend that one first tip this guy says. Whenever you do damage a survivor, there no need to go back in the tunnels and track them down. Xeno is one of the best characters in terms of loops. You’ll catch up with the survivor in no time. The tail there’s a ceiling level to learn, not that high but it is something to learn through tests. One of the strongest M2 in the game, should be taken advantage. Whenever you loose your ability tho that’s a NO NO.. go back to tunnels!!
One thing i wouldnt recommend as well is using lethal pursuer on xeno honestly because you can already find survivors quickly if you just pop into a tunnel looking for footsteps but that's just me
Amazing guide, because my brain is to small to comprehend everything I will now go into your videos and watch some gameplay to see how you play in action
Emergency helmet is the best addon, not just good. Hitting the turret with your tail slows you down for the full hit duration, whereas with your m1 counts only as a m1 missed attack, which has a shorter speed penalty. Emergency helmet gives you the time needed to close the distance with your m1 without getting knocked out, it’s a mandatory addon imo.
Acidic is just… not worth? There’s just better to put in the add on slot.
You should be avoiding getting knocked out of power at all, so turret destroy capability is mandatory
Lethal persuer is also just not worth because you can just immediately go into a tunnel and cruise around until you find someone with footsteps, I almost never have issues finding anyone in opening of the game.
Additionally, you completely overlooked how to manage and use your tail properly. It has a lot of active frames, so you should at least mention dragging the tip and maybe touch on over obstacle shots, and for the guide’s sake maybe discuss how to handle certain loops.
Also I just realized you have absolutely no gen regression, that’s bold
@@nestofferns The reason I put Emergency helmet as good and not Best is because you should be chasing underground not overground. I recommend that you watch the video.

I really like the Ripley's watch add on. I pair it with the purple add on that grants undetectable. It's a little goofy, but genuinely is useful in some situations. Outside of that I just like the watch add on in general

Cereal rations isn't good, maybe for first time players but u should know where turrets are anyway being in a loop close to a control station cz survivors r so slow it won't be too far away from a station
Guess im the weird survivor then, who carries it across map for the stealth and proper placement.
First off good guide had me laughing multiple times as i relate to running out of footage and just replaying clips, i use a similar format when making a guide.
Some unique and interesting stuff here especially your niche perk recommendations which i appreciate.
If i had one criticism I'd say you should spend more time on the tail attack. Its a very intuitive power and theres alot going on with its hitbox which is very hard to understand especially for a new player.
Overall good stuff though and a well made video.
I think the only thing you need to learn with the tail attack is readjusting - most of the time you're just in positions to punish animation locks which is very straight forward
