It's a tiny almost insignificant moment in the episode but the Doctor twitching his head in sync with the malfunctioning "Max, Max, Max" Host is just one of 900 million reasons why David Tennant is such a legend. It fits perfectly with his Doctor, and almost certainly feels like something David improvised in the moment. Not sure why I felt that needed mentioning but it always makes me smile whenever I rewatch this ep 😅

The first time that the Doctor was heard saying “Allons y”, in Army of Ghosts, he mentions that it would be great to meet someone named Alonzo so he could say “Allons y, Alonzo” to them.
Bernard Cribbins, who plays the old man selling papers, was a national treasure in the UK. This isn’t his first experience with Doctor Who - in the ‘60s, the first two Dalek stories were adapted into movies starring Peter Cushing. Bernard Cribbins appeared in the second one as one of the Doctor’s companions, PC Tom Campbell.
Time Crash (the Children In Need mini-episode) provides a little extra context for why the TARDIS defences were down. It’s worth a watch even if you don’t react to it.
With inflation, Mr Copper’s million pounds in 2008 is about 1.7 million pounds (or 2.1 million US dollars) in today’s money.
This is the first mention in New Who of Kasterborous, the constellation in which the Doctor’s home planet of Gallifrey is located. Classic Who tended to use “constellation” as a synonym for “galaxy”.
Verity Lambert was the show’s original producer, and co-creator alongside Sidney Newman. She was one of the focal characters of An Adventure in Space and Time, a film about the origin of the show that was made for the 50th Anniversary. She died during production of this episode, which is why she gets a little tribute at the end. In Human Nature, John Smith claims that his parents were named Sidney and Verity.

There was no way Kylie Minogue was ever going to become a regular companion she's far too famous for that.
Verity Lambert was the original producer of "Doctor Who" back in the 1960's she was also the very first female producer of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).
I'm very surprised this christmas special was your least favourite considering since "Voyage of the Damned" is one of the most highest rated watched christmas programmes of christmas 2007 as well than any other "Dr. Who" christmas episodes in general there were high stakes there was death, killer robots that's a very "Doctor Who" episode i mean what more could you ask for?.
The angel robots were a nod to the Classic Who Robots from a Tom Baker serial called "The Robots of Death" that look very similar.
This is the first episode in NuWho to introduce the drumbeat version of the "Dr. Who" theme.
This episode was still being filmed in SD at the time HD doesn't come until 2009.
The actor who plays Mr. Copper is Clive Swift who is best know as the long suffering husband Richard Bouquet (pronounced Bucket) from the 1990's british sitcom "Keeping Up Appearances".

4:10 Steven Moffat makes EXTENSIVE USE of the Short Interlude with better editing than was done for Time Crash. His interludes were written and crafted to be watched as part of the season (series) more and more during his time as showrunner for 11 and 12. To the point where the interludes themselves have actual plot points and full introductions to episodes themselves. I feel you short yourself if you dont at least watch them.
