“People have this enormous capacity to blossom at any age” as someone who feels lost about life, even knowing what I want to do. But not sure if I’m on that right path in doing so, and struggling with grief, & sadness. This is a pretty great segment and report, it does give hope and inspiration in a way...
I thought this video was about a dog. Who is really cute btw. I actually enjoyed it even more when they spoke of the late bloomer thing. It was really cool and inspiring.
We do live in what I call a 'juven-ocracy', and it is a pity. I will be 71 in two weeks (September 17, 2019). I briefly thought about reversing the digits of my age just for fun, and being 17. But actually, I prefer to do it in spirit, while keeping my real age. I married a Katrina survivor from New Orleans, when I was almost 60, in 2008. He was 63. We recently retired, returning to New Orleans (his home City), from NYC (my home city). I am discovering what it is like to be a 'junior senior' in a marvelous new place. And, in fact, I am starting a blog about my experiences. Which I hope may inspire others of mature years, to make changes..at ANY point, in their own lives..
There's no such thing as a late bloomer, everyone blooms at different ages. I'm 70 and having a ball in arts and crafts making cat toys thanks to my cat Toy... I just retired and couldn't be happier.
This is the episode my Dad made me watch after I split with my ex. I love this story! 💖💖it might be my favorite out of the thousands I hv seen from cbs Sunday morning - p.s. this is the best show on the planet! 💖💖💖💖
I watch this video and I often think of myself as a late bloomer I didn't get into school for my career until I was 35 and now I'm in school I can to be a medical assistant and I will finish when I am 38. Don't ever let someone tell you what you can and cannot do.
I'm 64 and about to finalize a divorce after a long marriage...not yet a grandma. Life is about to begin for me, maybe in a big way... there's much more to learn and explore. Downside? Can't do all you want to do in one lifetime.
I like this and you guys should make a video showing anyone with disabilitys can go to college and become a doctor or veterinarian or nurse or vet tech or teacher cause I have a disabilty and my parents are telling me I will never make it to college or become a veterinarian vet tech or doctor or teacher cause I have a disabilty and what I really want to be is a Vet Tech
Wow 97 I was starting my first year of college. I was thinking durning this time why I didn't hear over before. It's funny I went to Hallmark and bought a stuffed bulldog with my brother. I remember thinking someone should go adopt a real English Bulldog and take pictures of it and have different kinds of things that you could buy and people should create interesting sayings to go with the product. We came from a single-parent family so I was always thinking of ways that we could start a business but I thought to myself now nobody will want to buy that stuff.
This segment should have all the same people on a daily talk show, both on t.v., radio, and You Tube. And it should be translated into every language possible. September 2019
They don’t say youth is wasted on the young for nothing. You don’t even want to let it slip you’re having sex after a certain age. As if a prerequisite of intimacy is a firm body all over, nice straight white even teeth, a gorgeous mane of hair (male or female) along with every other desireable trait of the human body!
On the spiritual side of life they say that someone died early or late I say I'm on GOD'S time just like the way I live my life. I may have been "late" in accomplishing my GED a few years ago but it was the right time in my life not there's.
As someone in the younger generation, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You pretending to be the spokesperson FOR AN ENTIRE GENERATION... now THAT is worthless.
Well is this a coincidence at the age of 60 and unemployed and have so much time on my hands finding a passion or hubby that could potentially become a possible late blooming experience any suggestions?

@@peterrobinson1387 , it surely sounds like you're a man of many interest and talents. Start simple. Maybe you could begin by coming up with some sort of craft/decorative item(s) you could make and see if you could start selling at different festivals/fairs or something like that. Also, if you feel like you've got an excessive amount of time on your hands you might be able to use some or your talents/interest in a volunteer capacity somewhere in your community that could possibly lead you into other avenues of making money. Often times it just takes being in the right place and meeting the right people to find new opportunities that you didn't even know existed.
After I retired, I started a successful business that only employs other retired people as employees. Today, that success business is mostly employee owned.
It's just plain CRUEL to breed dogs with genetic abnormalities that make their lives miserable, always struggling to breathe through a contorted muzzle.
This is not really about the woman and her dog; they're just the hook for the story. Please change the misleading title to something that accurately describes what the video is about. This dog lover was disappointed!
What a perfect surprise when I was thinking that now is the time to begin writing. Thank you so much.

"Ugly" is one more adjective I'd add.
Dogs need to outside during the day when owners are gone and inside at night, common sense!
