Animals are some of our greatest gifts. They have unconditional love and gratitude. Right now I'm bonding with a possum. He is not my pet as he goes off into the wild but comes and give me company on the porch several days a week.
Awwww he should get to take Mario home to live with him that is so precious.

A Goose life span is 40 years... They better like each other...
They only live between 10 - 25 years on average. Only a few make to 30 and only 1 has been recorded to live to 49 and 8 months.

We live on a boat in a marina in Brittany. we had two geese here and the female died . I sat with the male for about 4 hrs as he cried and he sat in my lap. after a couple of days he started to follow me now after 3 years he is MY goose he follows me any where I go and he sleeps along side our boat all night. If anyone comes near the boat he gives off the alarm. If anyone approaches me he will attack and doesn't like my wife who has her own goose a Chinese goose or water fowl

@@mountaingirl1797 Mario died on Friday, June 29, 2018, at his home at the LA Zoo. He died in his sleep from old age. The zoo released a statement saying, "The Los Angeles Zoo is sad to announce the passing of the celebrity, domestic Toulouse goose, Mario. The nine-year-old goose resided at the Winnick Family Children's Zoo for the last seven years until his passing on Friday, June 29 due to old age. Mario was an animal that brought joy to many Angelenos, and he will be missed."

@ g gulleyI had a crow decide I was the buddy she was looking for....birds are a different kind of intelligent,but once you get by the disconnect they are amazingly dedicated.I used to think birds were little more than reactionary in behavior,kind of a stupid source of protein. if you ever have a bird initiate a bond with you,you`ll fully understand what I`m talking about. a bird will display the purest form of love,they will even risk their life to protect you if they sense a threat. they don`t understand the mechanix of human behavior and our relationships with machines and they put themselves at risk unneccessarily....but their motivations are pure and selfless.
I had a pet duck that grew up. She used to swim around in her little pool all day long. One day, many ducks were traveling overhead. She quacked quacked quacked like I had never heard before. I go outside and she starts running, opens her wings, and takes off into the sky. I had never seen her fly before. I have no idea how she learned to do it, but I do believe she made an effort to tell me goodbye.

Past life. No matter what gender they were in their past lives, the goose was the protector. He/She was very jealous, never letting anyone near his/her mate, worried and fussed over his/her mate and took care of him/her until the day he/she died after and long, sad protracted illness. The goose in his/her past life pined over his/her mate until one day, while coming out of the water sad and bored, he/she discovered the smell of a perfume/cologne, recognized Dominic's gait and said: "My God! It's him/her! Now the goose is doing the same thing: speaking words/quacks of love to his/her lover and confidant; protecting his mate like he did in the past, 'til death do them part.
I hope that they are buried together, and I hope that if they are buried, I hope someone plays Luther Van Dross' "Power of Love" and has a ceremony that shows and honors the eternal wonder and power of love.

I wish they could live together in a little country property with a pond. Mario would be in heaven. There are no dumb animals. They are all souls with the capacity to love. Ive seen chickens do incredible things.

This is so sweet. How are the two of them doing in todays mess? Hope both are okay, but six years is a long period to ask if they are still living. I hope so and hope that they are still together. Please let us know.
Mario was most likely a dumped pet. I am guessing an older gentleman who passed and family dumped him. He probably looked a lot like him.

That tells me that animals have a sence of them to know something special about some humans we will never understand it just look dogs can find drugs and list humans and even smell cancer. Please let's be kind if you can be only one thing in life be kind

I'm wasting my time, so laugh like the thousands. Friday I bought a $10 battery charger, I left it on overnight, and the batteries melt it along with the bottom of charger. I'm glad I didn't read the instructions, it told me: "not yet, be patient". My only goal. I already wished you good luck.
I am suspect of the city's need to put the juice in a cage in a zoo. I'm sure it's more likely to make money off of how Famous the goose become rather than his protection

Ok this is not right!
First of all...all the ducks had to be removed from the lake while the lake was drained and cleaned.
Well they put all the other ducks back there after it was done so why did they keep Maria/Mario there? The animal should have been set free again not locked up until it dies. It can not even fly all around like across the lake like it was use to doing. I find this cruel to keep this duck in house arrest. Looks like this famous duck is being kept as an attraction for the zoo...shame on them!

It should be back at the lake...how would you like being locked away from your home. Locked up because it is famous, what crap. Kyle is more famous no one has that one locked up.
