I made sure of that because I walked around my neighbourhood and went to the vet. Now, I decided to take her in and just let her be until I can find someone who can take her. She walked over to me and began to cuddle against and love me. I have NEVER had a strong connection like this with an animal and really, I LOVE this kitten. I need help, I just DONT know what to do! She was a stray and really, I just need tips and help.
Heyy, unfortunately I can’t really help you. I’ve been a dog owner for almost my whole life and yesterday i found a kitten out in the cold. So far I learnt that he needs warmth and cuddles with me the whole time. I’ve also researched and found out that we ARENT supposed to give them regular cows milk. My kitten looks okay for now but he’s really weak. Anyways these are the few things that I’ve learnt so far and I hope I helped u a little!!
Just love her man. Cuddle her right back. Don’t feed her cow milk. Get kitten formula. Hold her and talk purr/hum to her. Get her to a vet first to get her vaccinated.
How is your fur baby doing? Simply make sure your kitty has fresh water change (not tap water) ever day. Clean litter box everyday as well because they are clean animals and will go somewhere else in your home. Lastly good quality food and you can do some research on that. There's videos you can watch on the best food. After losing my cat I now spend a little more money even on a fixed income so my present cat stays healthy. Having the heartbreaking experience of losing my last cat I can tell you you won't regret giving your fur baby chemical free water and high quality food that typically is not sold in regular stores. I hope you have many years of unconditional love with your new family member.
You should give her a flea bath if u haven't already and teqnical it's it kitten so if u love her that much keep her girl make yourself happy with acute fur baby
I just got a new cat and never expected we will get another. we heard meowing for hours from our house, when we got outside we realized it's from underneath the car. little baby crawled into the engine. took a lot of hard work, but we managed to get it into a point where I could grab it. I love my new kitty

Also you don't need toys if you have enough NIP! and never forget the basic rule... cats are homicidal maniacs and A$$HOLES!

I once got a cat of that age and the local cat rescue and vet gave me a lot of good advice. That included getting another kitten to teach her how to be a cat. So I got one from the rescue a few weeks older. The original cat lived to one month passed her 20th birthday but unfortunately the second one had an undetected heart condition and passed away at 14.

you forgot fleas! Fleas are a common problem to cats, especially kittens because they gain them from their mother during her pregnancy. If a kitten is younger than 6 weeks you should bathe them with dish soap and brush them with a flea brush. If it is older than 6-7 weeks you can go to the vet to get a flea repellent
Hey! Dr Kim does talk about fleas - at 02:00. Also, our vets don't recommend bathing your kitties in dish soap - just stick to vet recommended flea prevention instead :-)
I think our two have considered humanifying their cattery. In the U.K. it’s not a legal requirement to microchip cats but it’s no less important. Our two are house cats but they’ve chipped and neutered and their worming is still kept up to date. They also wear quick snap collars with name tags. Even though they are brothers and have a very strong bond both prefer their own water fountain and cat grass.
I just got the ok from my parents to adopt my very first kitten, Ginger Junior. He's a cute little guy from my neighbor's cat's first litter. So when he turns 12 weeks in September, he will be mine!!!! I can't wait, since I've never had a pet before. I hope he enjoys his new home

They will climb on the dining table regardless of discipline. Also, kittens will climb on kitchen counters, stove, refrigerator. Kittens don't sleep but rather they recharge to engage in a battle of wills. They follow their predatory nature and will bite and scratch you. Respect their nature and research ways to properly discipline your kitten. If you love to travel then do not get a cat. Leaving them in the care of a stranger is very stressful. If you are emotionally prepared to care for a crazy kitten for the first year then by all means get a cat. If not ready then don't get a kitty because you'll re-home it and that's unfair for all.

I found a 6-7weeks feral kitten on side streets. She was all alone. No siblings. No mom. In the end i found out she was owned by one of the construction worker who is building a house nearby. He said he also was given the kitten by someone else. He let me take her home because he admitted that he couldn't take good care of her. When i first took her home (on the day of the chinese new year 1st February 2022) i found she had fleas, ear mites, diarrhea, was very skinny and underweight (just 650grams), and has some kind of a suspected fungal infection near her ears and on her right cheek. The spot there was bald. I suspect ringworm. I have her Revolution plus for Kitten which is supposed to kill off fleas and dewormed her, and also treats her ear mites. For the fungal infection i put miconazole on them with a cotton bud. Today as i am writing this (Feb 9), she has grown bigger, she eats triple the amount from when she first came, and she starts to grow confidence and independence. She does not seem to have fleas anymore, i bathe her in dawn liquid soap first day she arrived, used the revo 2 days later and used the flea comb on her. She stopped having diarrhea. I checked her poop and i didn't see any dead worms or any worms at all. Now i suspect she is about 7-8weeks old. Most probably 8 weeks old because her adult green eye colors have emerged. She can jump to my bed, she eats wet and kibbles for kittens. I bought Royal Canin weaning and Happy Cat. My question is this: 1. Can i deworm her again with 1/4 drontal? It said that the kitten needs to be at least 1kg in weight but now she is just around 700-750grams. She eats a lot like non stop and she is growing bigger but not fatter, i'm not sure if that's normal or coz she has worms. I don't see any dead worms or live ones tho even before i gave her the revo plus. 2. Can i give her ear mites medication too? The revo is supposed to kill the mites, i cleaned her ears and found the condition has got better so not sure if i should give her separate ear mites meds or not. Or should i just give her a second dose of revo plus? If i am to give her a second dose of revo plus, instead of separate deworming and illium ear drops, how soon can i give her? I just have her revo on 3rd of feb and now is 9th of feb. If u r wondering why not just go to vet, i consulted with a vet nearby and she said the kitten is too young and underweight for any meds except for Revo plus which i already gave her. I am in Indonesia. 3. She doesnt bury her póop or peè. Will she grows out of it?

Sooooo, we have 2 cats. Nacho, and maggie. We had 3, the other was named pumpkin. But he went missing (and died, we have coyotes around) and pumpkin was Nacho's play buddie. So we're been looking for a new cat, we finally got our new boy today! His name is Taquito, he's gorgeous. He's a really really light orange with brown swirls. He's scared of our other cats and he's tried to run away, they're all outside btw. But we brought him inside and he's so sweet and I'm just so incredibly scared he'll run off. I just can't handle this. Nacho doesn't love him yet and I just feel like he'll run away. We're gonna keep him inside for a few days to get comfortable and slowly get him outside. If anyone has tips of how to make sure he doesn't run away that'd be great. We live on a farm and he would get lost and never come back if he ran off
My room doesnt exactly have things made for cats but it is messy and has all sorts of obstacles for him to have fun with so I think I good. My kitten also lives in one room. Cats are extremely low maintenance but they can be extremely high maintenance if that's what you cater to people make it seem difficult and cats are about the easiest animal to take care of and it's even easier if they are indoor outdoor cats like mine

Sooooo, we have 2 cats. Nacho, and maggie. We had 3, the other was named pumpkin. But he went missing (and died, we have coyotes around) and pumpkin was Nacho's play buddie. So we're been looking for a new cat, we finally got our new boy today! His name is Taquito, he's gorgeous. He's a really really light orange with brown swirls. He's scared of our other cats and he's tried to run away, they're all outside btw. But we brought him inside and he's so sweet and I'm just so incredibly scared he'll run off. I just can't handle this. Nacho doesn't love him yet and I just feel like he'll run away. We're gonna keep him inside for a few days to get comfortable and slowly get him outside. If anyone has tips of how to make sure he doesn't run away that'd be great. We live on a farm and he would get lost and never come back if he ran off

My room doesnt exactly have things made for cats but it is messy and has all sorts of obstacles for him to have fun with so I think I good. My kitten also lives in one room. Soon to be two rooms possibly. We found him outside and he is not feral but we are quarantine him for 7 days cause we dont want 14 yrs old cat to get sick.

I adopted a stray kitten . Then I got 2 other kittens as well. 2 are sisters. So they are different breeds. The older one is afraid of the new ones. It attacks the other 2. I'm really upset . Is it safe to keep them in one room even if I am not around. Will the become friends?
We're going to adopt this big cat (1-3 y.o) and when I met him he didn't try interacting with me and kept ignoring me when I tried playing with him-- I'm worried he won't like us but then again its his first time meeting us:') I'm also worried bc anything could go wrong since this is my first time getting a cat and have no experience with pets:(
