Will Smith is not a comedian by trade and the brotherhood/family of comedians don't recognize him as one of their own. He is a rapper turned actor who gained his acting success on the comedy platform. He's never done stand up comedy, and once the sitcom ended, he's done majority serious acting roles. Funny thing is that since he got big in movies, his music career virtually died and he's not a big part of that community anymore either. He's turning into a struggling actor on an island, and he's just hard to relate to in general these days 🤷🏿♂️
